I purchased this brand's item quite blindly when trying to replace my husband's favorite white cotton sheets sets that were no longer available from a company that had gone out of business. He was having cancer surgery and I wanted to make sure he was as comfortable as could be upon his return from the hospital. These sheets are BRILLIANT! They wash up time after time without pilling found often in synthetic and bamboo sheets. They're cotton and even in lesser thread count feel substantial and luxurious but so easy to care for especially if you follow the simple directions enclosed. They are GENEROUS and very easy to fit even larger mattresses. They even indicate a top of the head and foot of bed direction tag! We live in AZ and being cotton on 100° nights, these breathe and absorb perspiration like luxury cotton. I don't put any other brand on the bed since we found Design Den cotton sheets and I am a devoted fan for life! ... show more

Size: Queen Color: 01 - White
I ordered these sheets in plain white and Queen size. After a short wash on warm to remove any sizing and dry on "Whites" setting to get the shrinkage out of the way the sheets feel soft with minimal wrinkles. I removed them from the dryer while still warm and made up the bed. The fit is adequate, with little room for future shrinkage as cotton does. The sheets are very lightweight. I do not believe they are 500 thread count. They are closer to 250-300 TC. I will keep them for summer sheets, but will be mindful of any ragged toenails that could shred these thin sheets. They scored high points on softness, wrinkle resistance and fit, but I gave 4 stars due to inaccurate Thread Count labeling. ... show more

Light Blue is actually a baby Blue. The sheets are alot lighter than in the picture. They are super soft though. I just wanted a darker blue.
