These have a nice weight to them. I did put them on a bed for guests to stay and I did not wash them beforehand, but they said that the bed was so comfortable and they slept so well. I’m sure that they will feel even better after washing. They are very silky feeling and they have a nice Shane to them and they’re very pretty. They are not heavy to the point where they’re hot, but they are a nice weight and thread count. I will buy more for the other beds now. I really like this brand. The pillowcases are awesome too. Years and years ago, I had a sheet set that I didn't appreciate at the time. The kind of purchase you buy in your youth when money is no real issue but relegate to the back of the linen closet when you color preferences change. I rediscovered that set recently (no longer usable as we upgraded to a larger bed) and I realized...those sheets never pilled, never wore, never frayed. And here I am now with "soft" sheets, navigating and avoiding holes each night. Figuring repurchasing quality sheets would be pricey, I've put it off for months. Meanwhile, I'd been researching what is was about those original sheets that I liked so much. The tags had been long worn...no clue brand, material, or weave. What I'd determined was I liked their crispness, their weight, and their overall thickness. And what I needed to find would be long staple cotton. I discovered these sheets in particular on Amazon and the price was far less than I was expecting to pay. Some say itchy - I say crisp. Some say wrinkly - I say...duh. 100% cotton Some say lower thread count - I mention quality of thread used I'll update should I discover deteriation with use, but so far...these are PRECISELY what I'd been looking for. I have been purchasing these products for a long time. I recently purchased a queen bed sheet set and I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent change in your product tags. Previously, your tags were made of soft cotton or silk. They were high-quality, comfortable, and maintained the soft integrity of the sheets. However, the new tags are made of stiff synthetic material, like plastic. This cheap material is rough, scratchy, and feels like it could eventually melt in hight-heat washers or dryers. Bed sheets should be soft from corner to corner, and this includes all attached materials. I hope the company consider returning to the higher-quality soft fabric tags you used to use. ... show more
