This are great sheets. I love the color pink that I chose. They do not get you hot at night and fit perfectly on my mattress. Something that I like about them is that the top and bottom are labeled, which allows for easy bed making. They are extremely good quality and feel nice to the touch. I bought these in blue as well for my boyfriends bed because I loved them so much at my house. Years and years ago, I had a sheet set that I didn't appreciate at the time. The kind of purchase you buy in your youth when money is no real issue but relegate to the back of the linen closet when you color preferences change. I rediscovered that set recently (no longer usable as we upgraded to a larger bed) and I realized...those sheets never pilled, never wore, never frayed. And here I am now with "soft" sheets, navigating and avoiding holes each night. Figuring repurchasing quality sheets would be pricey, I've put it off for months. Meanwhile, I'd been researching what is was about those original sheets that I liked so much. The tags had been long worn...no clue brand, material, or weave. What I'd determined was I liked their crispness, their weight, and their overall thickness. And what I needed to find would be long staple cotton. I discovered these sheets in particular on Amazon and the price was far less than I was expecting to pay. Some say itchy - I say crisp. Some say wrinkly - I say...duh. 100% cotton Some say lower thread count - I mention quality of thread used I'll update should I discover deteriation with use, but so far...these are PRECISELY what I'd been looking for. Update: nearly 1 year late, there has been no noticible wear. They are softer now, but still look great with no pilling for fraying. These were precisely the sheets I had hoped for. ... show more

    • Budget friendly Cotton sheets.

This is our second order for the California Design sheets. We initially came across this line in a product search and found that they were rated as the best overall budget friendly sheet set. We just purchased a new Simmons Black Label mattress that was about 15" deep. These sheets were listed as 100% cotton and fit mattresses up to 16" deep. They have a separate tag listing the head and foot area when putting the sheets on the mattress. From the outset, we are impressed with the overall packaging of the set and they seem to be of good quality. These are lighter weight than our previous bed set, but that is what we were looking for as we wanted something a little easier to mange. We have washed a few times now and the sheets have maintained there initial size and hold very nicely on our mattress. These are a satin set and smoother overall, but feel very good to the touch and the thinner set we believe has better breathability resulting in a more comfortable sleep. I will reserve any overall opinion on longevity as this is the first set we have ordered from California Design. Initial impressions so far are good as to fit, finish and comfort.     • Good quality 100% cotton, but size?

Top sheet is too short by quite a bit! 🤨😡 My mattress is of medium thickness-no where close to the massive mattresses of today. I do have an adjustable bed. I don't think that should matter, and I don't think it does. The top sheet is too short no matter what position it is in! I think quality control is lacking. That said these are nice sheets, especially for the price. The kind of cotton sheets that get better and softer with each wash. Fairly thick cotton, not too warm or cool. They DID NOT stay in place because because the top sheet is too short (and I have an adjustable bed). If you sleep with sheet untucked and don't mind waking up with your sheet in a ball, or twisted around you in the morning (or middle of the night) then you might sleep well with these. Just didn't work for me. I honestly can't say that I would or wouldn't recommend these sheets. That's why I gave 4 stars. I was going to give 3 but they really are quality cotton sheets at an affordable price. Just poor measurements on the top sheet. ... show more
