The set is nice, but very small. It is marketed as a Spartan shield and sword. While the sword size is Ok for kids, the shield is very small. The Greek shields were very big, covering the whole body. My son really liked this with his Spartan costume. However, compared to other swords and shields... this one was significantly smaller in size. It would have looked better with my 4 year old than my 11 year old.

Good as Percy Jackson substitute sword and shield

My boy loves Percy Jackson, used this as part of his Halloween costume. It worked perfectly. It could hurt if it hit something too hard, but the plastic couldn't destroy much since it is... plastic.

The color isn't red, it's maroon/ purple. The size is perfect for my grandson and the quality is good. A little disappointed because of the color but over all I'm happy with this purchase. Thanks

Good fit for 3 year old. Quality good for price.

Good shield and sword for my baby girl to play wonder woman with. She's 3 and it's the right size for her. This toy is what you pay for it. At only $12 the plastic and design are not extremely tough. If my kids get super rough or step on it, it could break.
