I bought this for my daughter as I was looking for a somewhat affordable addition to her new Calico Critter collection. PROS: For the price point, I thought this was a great value. It comes with a "mom" doll which is nice because we have enough of the baby critters from the surprise packs. I was really impressed with the various functions of each piece. The ice in the fridge is adorable! My daughter loved playing with each piece of furniture. CONS: I still struggle getting the stickers on the milk cartons! It's hard to get it all lined up nicely on each side. There are also some very small pieces, I'm pretty sure we already lost one of the ice cubes. Just something to be aware of. This set is adorable! I bought the Calico Critter Red Roof Cottage for my 7 year old niece’s Birthday. She LOVES playing with her Calico Critter toys. I wanted to start gifting her with add-ons each Christmas and Birthday. Since she only has the set I bought her for her birthday, I wanted to gift her with a set that gives her another Calico Critter and more furniture/houseware. This set is so cute & it comes with so much! I love that the items have realistic features like turning the stove on and flushing the toilet. These are a great little light and are hard plastic that keeps them from breaking but, remember they are battery operated and those switches can be temperamental. The light they give is fine, just getting them installed is a bit of a winging it kinda thing. Be sure not to push to hard on the on-off button. Otherwise, they work pretty good. ... show more

Fits perfectly into my critter shop ceiling where it's supposed to! You will need 2 AAA batteries and a small Phillips screwdriver to make it work. Nice functional on off button once batteries are in and compartment screwed back on. Screw stays attached so you won't lose it loosening it!
