CalFlor MultiSpacers were developed to take expansion spacers to the next level. They include 5 different expansion positions to meet all flooring installation requirements. Expansion spaces for ¼” (6mm) for Vinyl Plank, 3/8” (10mm) for laminate, ½” (12mm) for Engineered Hardwood, and for thresholds both ¾” (20mm) & 1” (25mm). MultiSpacers lay flat and stay put during installation. 1 MultiSpacer replaces 2 traditional style wedge spacers you’ll need half as many for your installation. Includes: 20 MultiSpacers per pack. For use while installing all types of plank flooring including, Wood, Laminate, Vinyl, Click Tile and more. 5 Expansion positions: ¼” (6mm) for Vinyl Plank, ⅜” (10mm) for Laminate, ½” (12mm) for Engineered Hardwood, and for thresholds both ¾” (20mm) & 1” (25mm). In putting down some laminate flooring in my hall I was having a terrible time trying to keep it straight and centered on both sides until I got these spacers. They have 3 different widths that helped a lot where the wall was not straight. That way I could use the width I needed to compensate for the difference and keep the laminate planks from moving from one side of the chalkline to the other when I was putting them together hard enough to get the click that locked them in place.     • Stable and easy to use
These are much more useful than the ones I tried before which would fall over or shift around, these are very stable, I used the 3/8 inch part, they also assisted me in measuring the shortened boards when reaching a wall. Was well worth the purchase

These were easy to use, and they stay in place without folding up as you push the flooring against them. I highly recommend these if you are installing laminate.

    • Convenient options
The ability to use one spacer for multiple widths is pretty great. Can combine two spacers to increase the width even more. All in all worked well for my project.

    • There are much better products if you need 1/4" spacers
This may work well for 3/8" or 1/2" spacing jobs, but it simply does not work for 1/4" spacing. The block does not lay flat and stay in position as advertised. Instead, it rocks forward and falls out. I created my own spacer shim to force it to sit level, which does work. Would not recommend for 1/4" jobs. ... show more

I purchased these to use on a vinyl plank flooring project. The different sizes for different expansion/contraction requirements was a nice touch, unfortunately the fall out quite easily when adjustments are made to the planks
