This cable works fine for connecting my iPad Pro to my Yamaha U1 TA2 (TransAcoustic) piano. This means it will also work with Yamaha silent pianos, and high probability of working with other keyboards as well. It works for the Yamaha Smart Pianist App, as well as a those Synthesia/keyboard learning apps, and iPad internal midi. Otherwise it’s rather unremarkable for a USB C to B cable - just does usb cable things.

My older rarely used laser printer has many more years of service and this cable will allow me to print directly from Android phone. I highly recommend if you've been struggling to find a way to print with dated equipment.
