I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of components - connectors, cables - and the way they are put together with care, with generous use of heat shrink tubings inside connectors to prevent accidental shorting of wires. (By the way, I didn't find the cables to be stiff like another reviewer commented. Maybe there has been a change?) So it was really too bad that one of the two cables I received had an open connection for the connector tips. I opened up the connectors, peeled off heat shrink tubings, and discovered a bad solder. It was easier for me to fix it with a soldering iron than to return it. In spite of this, I would not hesitate to order these cables in the future because of the quality components and construction. (But best to check your cables as soon as you receive them, just in case.) Giving it 4 stars because one of the 2 cables was defective. ... show more
