One complaint. The cable works as described, and built just like all the others. Nothing special, nothing bad. Great value. My only issue is that it flags unifi equipment as (degraded) because of eeprom issues that do not effect linkspeed, latency, or packet-drop.

Using the 1m cable to connect between an Ubiquity Unifi UDR-7 and an USW pro switch. After configuring the ports and leaving the negotiation to auto, plugged in the cable and worked right away. Note that there is a circuit on each end of the cable that identifies it, similarly to like an SFP. Installation is easy, plug and play on the cable itself. Both ends correctly identified the cable as: Vendor: Cable Matter Part Number: 104033-1m-US - Revision R A valid serial number for the cable of type DAC, 10000 FDX Devices negotiated 10G speed as expected with to issues. To it all checks out. Build quality is excellent, no issues with the connectors. It arrived with covers on each end. rolled with small Velcros than can be reused. Cable is thin and flexible. I like that there are no stickers on the cable itself, and all of the information is on the connectors. Color of the cable itself is black with silver connectors. The 1 meter size is right for me because the UDR is not a rackmount component so I needed the extra length. Looks like much more expensive cables. ... show more
