I use this to hold my mechanical keyboard, though its great for typing its not great for gaming. I have a separate mechanical gamepad that I use to game. I needed a shelf of some sort so that I could store the main keyboard out of the way. This was the only shelf that had the dimensions that fit my keyboard properly. Can easily attach to any desk thickness, the included rubber pads are a nice touch, prevents any damage to your desk when clamping this thing down tight (which you will need to do to ensure it from wobbling around)

They assembly sucks. It's terrible. Nails are a struggle to screw in. Once you get past that the versatility is great. You can place it under or on top a desk and forward or backwards. Has large capacity for thicker desk or skinny tables. Very sturdy no shaking. Held wires up very well. Does not look cheap. Wide to hold larger items. Comes with velcro strips to hold wires and tools for the screws
