I travel a lot for work, including somewhat regular international flights. I’ve owned several “donut” neck pillows and I still can’t figure out why I see so many people carrying them at the airport. They’re possibly the worst design of all time and do nothing to help me sleep on a flight. There’s always too much material behind your neck pushing it forward and they have absolutely no support. Then I found the evolution S3. As an engineer I wanted to design a pillow that was thinner behind the neck and attaches to seat to stabilize the neck. Turns out there was already one on the market. I just traveled to Israel and England this past month using this pillow and it allowed me to sleep an average of 6 hours on the 4 long-haul flights which is the best I’ve ever been able to do in all my years of flying. The straps went around the headrest easily on all of the aircraft I’ve used so far on United and American. I could see an issue with seats that don’t have the adjustable headrest but those aren’t super common anymore. The sides are firm but made of compression foam which makes it comfortable. I always wear noise canceling QC35 headphones when flying and they fit well, but not perfect, with this pillow. The thin material behind the neck is perfect and doesn’t push you head forward much at all, unlike the donut pillows. There is a strap that clips together below the chin that keeps your head from bobbing while you’re asleep. I would say the strap is the area that could be improved the most. It’s made of a relatively thin cord which dogs in a little when your chin is down. I think some padded or at least some cloth covering would go a long way in making this the perfect solution for plane sleeping. Overall this is excellent and way better than any other sleep aid I’ve found. Pair it with some noise canceling head phones and blackout eye covers and you’ll get the best plane sleep of your life. It’s obviously not comparable to a bed but anything to make a long haul flight go faster is great in my book. Highly recommend! ... show more

I like this pillow...a lot. It is comfortable and supportive. Also, for what you get, it does compact down smaller than most. It's just that it's bulky in general. For me, it would be worth it to give up a little bit of comfort for more space in my bag.

I use this pillow to fly to Europe and also on ultra long travel to china. It is so comfortable and very convenient that it has straps on the pillow. Don’t rely on the straps in walking through a busy airport to hold the pillow safely, but it is very convenient and overall the quality is very very good I have had an opportunity to speak to Customer service. They were very helpful and courteous, and I would certainly recommend this product if you are going to be flying anywhere I want to sleep. It’s Support your head from falling to the side and you don’t have any pain in your neck. Very good Travel pillow ... show more

I was excited to try out this neck pillow for its many great features. The fact it attaches to Plane seat, has adjustable neck tightness and the biggest plus a case to store it that attaches to your carryon. Unfortunately, the strap tore right out of the gate and therefore was cumbersome to carry around as I did not plan to keep it IN my carryon. This neck pillow actually held up on a cross Atlantic flight. Lots of support with just enough “give” to make it comfortable and easy to rest. Used this in the hospital after open-heart surgery when I couldn’t lie on my back. It worked well to keep my head from dropping to the side when sleeping. It’s taller and firmer than standard neck pillows you see in airports.
