I’ve never actually smelled the original 540 so I can’t really say if it’s a dupe or not. It does smell expensive though and I like the fact that it’s an oil so the smell lingers. I do feel like I had to apply more than usual to make the scent stick.. even when applied on my pressure points as suggested. I got so many compliments when I wore it though- mainly by women! What can I say we have good taste!! I love the convenience of it being small enough to put in my purse so I can smell good wherever I go! I’d definitely buy again if it was a few dollars cheaper.
