The fitting of the stockings is true to size. I have already worn these twice and they are very flattering. It gives the negative space of a fishnet, without the tackiness of a regular fishnet. The material is very comfortable and strong. The stocking has kept its shape even through 2 wash cycles.

This is my second pair, and I'm so disappointed in the quality. The first ones, I wore once and the second time i put them on, a giant hole ripped through at the point where the control top meets the tights pattern. These are expensive, so I thought it must be my fault so I ordered another pair. Putting these ones on the first time put 3 holes in them! I have short nails and am super careful when putting stockings on. I have never had tights so flimsy! They fit well and are a beautiful pattern, but definitely not worth it at all!
