Love it! It is warm, cozy & not too heavy. I've had bad luck with multiple comforters. The stitching comes apart & allows the filling to shift, leaving empty spaces. So far, this comforter has held up. We shall see. This will be the second winter coming up.

So far we’ve been pretty happy with this purchase. The price was amazingly low for the quality of product we received. This comforter seems to be true to it’s claim that it’s "Heavy Warmth for Winter”. I live in NYC, and so far it’s been a little too toasty for us. The comforter it’s replacing was a little lighter and probably more suited for our climate. But I think this would be perfect for anyone living in northern climes who get subzero temps. The whole thing seems well constructed, good stitching with the down pretty evenly distributed thruout the baffled boxes. The only negative about his duvet insert was a notable odor to it when we first opened the bag. And it wasn’t a “natural” bird feather/down smell that the manufacturer claims. It was definitely an artificial smell (reminded me of dry cleaning solution) that took a couple of days to air out. I was a little concerned at first but after shaking it every day we finally got the smell out. And it fluffed up quite nicely. Even tho this and similar products are listed as comforters, they are meant to be inserts, like a pillow, that you put into a duvet cover. It’s the cover that gets laundered frequently, not the comforter. So it didn’t bother me that this was “Dry Clean Only”. I even used a top sheet so I don’t have to wash the duvet cover every time as well. The duvet cover also helps with any shedding which frankly I find to be a natural occurrence with most down comforters, even more expensive ones.

It’s heavy in a good way! I am always cold and this is the only comforter I’ve ever owned that I actually sometimes feel hot under. Definitely winter weight (I live in the USA Pennsylvania) even for me. I assumed I would be using it for three seasons (not kidding about being always cold!) but 4 months is what I’m finding so far., currently looking for one by the same brand in a lighter fill weight for spring/fall. Bought in October 2021, use a duvet cover and have not seen any feathers/down ever escape when I change the cover. Let’s just say, I bought a designer brand full length coat at about the same time and feathers are flying from it! No regrets; this was a sound purchase I will get many years of use from.
