These are comfortable and sturdy. I am new at rollerskating so I chose this pair to begin that skate-life. The fit is perfect - the length and width surround my feet closely but not constricting - the wheels are aligned straight, the leather is soft but strong, the color isn't washed out and all the moving parts appear to be new. The wheels are nice and smooth so you can slide easily and the ankles are supported but not restricted. These will absolutely serve you as a pair of skates to learn on. I’ve used em consistently for a month or so and they still feel secure. I don’t think they’d hold up well to the wear and tear of skating competitively but if you’re just starting out this is an excellent investment. I purchased these because I had some just like them as a kid. They feel pretty good except for the wheels. I recommend ordering better wheels. Overall good skate for some flashback nostalgia.
