I’ve just returned these in exchange for a half-size down (and hoping that’ll be enough of a step-down)… I can’t remember the last time a size 10 was “too big” on my feet, but I literally walked right OUT of a shoe on the second step! Still, having had them (however briefly) on my feet, I have high hopes for these shoes, which seem promising for comfort, while definitely looking cuter and less-old-lady than most “corrective” or orthotic-type shoes… (Hey, I may BE an old lady—but who wants to FEEL like one? ;) *** Having received the half-size down, I’m pleased to report that the “promise” is real! I’m a dedicated barefoot-er (didn’t put on a single pair of “real” shoes—just flip-flop sandals when I had to go into a business) from May through October. Now that we’re into freezing temperatures, it’s Have-to-Wear-Shoes Season. And I share all that so I can say: THESE shoes are the next-best-thing-to-barefoot I’ve ever had on my feet! I have worn these shoes for a year and have since bought a second pair because they are so comfortable. I wear the blue ones every day for their good support and consider them my house shoes. I bought the other pair to wear out. I have washed my blue ones several times with good results. In the picture they just came out of the washer and are damp. I let them air dry. If you need inserts for some reason, I think they would work with these shoes. I have plantar fasciitis inserts in mine and they fit well without showing. I took off one star because of the white spot that wore off on the toe of one of the shoes, though it isn’t a big problem since I wear them at home. My other pair is the Silver Shimmer color and I have not worn them enough to know if they will wear in the same way. Other than the spot on the toe, my blue ones still look good inside and out as well as on the bottoms. Good shoes! ... show more

I love these shoes. Cute, comfortable, & very good arch support. I bought 2 pairs; black & the blue. As another reviewer mentioned the size is a tiny bit off. I’m a true 6.5 & my big toe goes right to the top of the shoe. Shoe is soft so not a problem for me.

The shoe is quite attractive and comfortable but does not provide much support. It is indeed a slip-on comfort flat but is mostly good as a dressed up slipper for casual wear around the home.
