You should read what this mug is for, I didn't and now I feel like an idiot! I was excited to try this until I tasted my coffee. I always heat my coffee in a cup for 30 seconds and then it's hot enough for me without burning my mouth. Knowing I cannot warm my coffee in the microwave in this mug, I first used a normal cup that could be heated. I poured the coffee into this mug and took a sip but was disappointed to find the coffee was Luke-warm. This didn't make sense, so I transferred the coffee back and reheated it in the microwave and poured it back. It was warmer but not hot, so I poured it back to my normal cup and heated it once again. I did not realize it was pulling the heat out, so I rinsed it with cold water, put in some water and ice, closed the lid and let it sit. I forgot about it for a couple of hours and came back to see if it was still cold. It was and there was still some ice in it. At this point I figured it was transferring the heat or the cold between the layers of the stainless steel. I thought this was a bit absurd because I like my coffee hot (not scorching) until I re-read the product description. "Quick Cooling" Insulated Coffee Cup...OM and G! Knowing this I have to say this product does "exactly" what it claims! If you have a more delicate palet than I do and cannot deal with hot coffee, this product is for you!

Overall it is a coffee mug, according to directions it uses nontoxic, non-BPA material so that is good. It didn't really keep my coffee any hotter or colder than a regular cup does. I guess if you stir it right away and put the lid on it can keep it warmer, but to me, it just seemed like a regular mug. The lid also traps water under the part that opens and closes which is a bit annoying to clean. Also, the opening to the lid is a bit sunken in the lid which means it can be a bit harder to drink from without spilling or having excess coffee get trapped under the switch that opens it. In my situation, I can't even use the lid, due to facial paralysis, so covering it and lifting the cover to take a sip is a little inconvenient. Overall a fine mug that didn't really keep my coffee any hotter than my other mugs.

This coffee mug keeps the coffee temperature, effectively. I have kept my coffee in the mug for over an hour and the coffee is still warm, with the same temperature right out the coffee maker. The mug is sturdy, you can see it's a good quality item and it looks very nice too. The mug is not lightweight but it's not heavy either, it has a good weight balance. The lid is easy to put and remove and it seals well. The sliding tab is a little harder to slide but that's good because it won't open accidentally. Regarding the claim that the coffee cools off when the slide tab is opened, that is true; you won't burn your mouth, at least that's my experience. I recommend it.

This Coffee Mug is pretty solid, it’s constructed well and does a good job cooling down liquids quickly. It’s 10 oz capacity is decent but it would’ve been nicer if it was able to hold more. The lid seals tightly but when washing it, water gets trapped between the slider part and it’s annoying to rinse out.

I’m super sensitive to heat, either with things I’m eating or temperature outside. I overheat easily, so when I make coffee I always have to put ice in it, or if there’s no ice around, I have to let it sit in my mug to cool down for a little bit. The problem with waiting is that I often forget that my drink exists, and it sits around a little too long. With this mug, my coffee or hot chocolate cools down to a comfortable drinkable temperature faster, so I can enjoy my drink sooner rather than later. This is a great product and does exactly as expected! I hope they make it in more colors or prints because these would make great gifts!

I like to drink coffee out of a mug and hate drinking coffee out of anything that has a lid. I use the lid on this to keep my coffee warm/keep it from spilling until I can sit down and relax. I only gave it 3 stars because it will not fit into the cup holders in my car and I have various ceramic mugs that are 14oz that can. You would think you would make a travel mug that would fit in a cup holder, especially one that only holds 10oz. I like it, it is very nice, but sure wish I could use it while driving. I hope this helps

I'm rating this a 5 because this mug does exactly what it says it does. If I rated it based on my preference, I would give it 1 star, but I can't fault the manufacturer for me not reading the description fully. I like piping hot coffee that I have to sip carefully and slowly. This mug ruins that experience by dropping its temperature quickly. However, if you like to drink your coffee at what the manufacturer considers the "perfect" temperature (140 degrees), then this mug is for you and it will keep your cuppa at your preferred temperature for an extended period of time. I have a friend who puts an ice cube in his coffee so it's comfortable for him to drink right away, and he will be getting this mug and I'm sure he will love it.
