I didn't know it was possible to love a rake so much, but it's true! This has been just what I needed to clean up my southern Arizona yard. Being in the desert, our landscaping consists of mostly gravel rocks, cacti, and big Mesquite trees. The trees shed in the winter, leaving a lot of twig-like debris across the gravel that is not easy to suck up with a leaf blower. A traditional rake doesn't work well over the gravel since it ends up just raking up the gravel along with the tree debris. But no, not this rake. This rake's long and gentle tendrils are able to loosely pull together the debris without disturbing much gravel. Plus, the easy retractable sizing is AMAZING and so handy! I'm able to quickly change the size to become more narrow and rake up leaves that accumulate along the side of the house and in between plants. Yay! I'm just a girl that's overjoyed with a rake. End of story.

I had one of these adjustable type rakes but somewhere in the moving process it never made it here. I have several rakes but not one that is expandable in size until I got this one. That is what makes this one indispensable for gardening chores. When you need to get in tight places this is the perfect tool. It is essential for flower beds to get in between plants where there may not be much room. It goes from average size width to any desirable size until it's at it's smallest. It is very easy to adjust the width. Just slide the lever on the handle to the desired position and lock it in place. It's that easy. The pictures from left to right are fully expanded, half expanded and the smallest rake position raking between flowers. Recommended to compliment a traditional rake for hard to reach places and light work. I would recommend this rake to anyone who is serious about gardening and making the flower beds look nice.

I purchased this later last fall and have just recently really gotten to use this rake with spring and summer yard work. Both my husband and I like it alot. Used it mainly for cleaning out beds after winter, raking out old mulch, leaves, and trimmings from shrubs. The adjustable feature is the main reason we bought this, and it delivers. It’s easy to adjust, great for working in smaller areas, in and around rocks, etc. Because it is lightweight, it is more stable and stronger when set at a smaller size, especially when working in mulch or heavier dirt areas. When set to a larger or full size scope, it seems to be more flimsy when working with heavy materials like wet leaves, but worked great on dry leaves and lighter materials. Thus 4 stars overall. A little stronger material at the ends of the rake would definitely give it a 5.

It’s actually working pretty good , Not the best quality, but for the price it’s worth. It does the job , cleaning up the leaves. You can adjust the size . And the good thing is its very light weight .

The rake is light weight and since it is adjustable will fit behind plants and flower pots especially next to fences or walls. It works very well when raking over gravel and even rubber bark.

Love this take! It’s perfect for what I need. It compacts or splays and is lightweight. It can compact into a simple that easily stored in my garden shed and is delicate enough to take pine needles stuck in my fescue. Still you cannot push or catch the prongs because they will bend. I made that mistake twice and bent them back, but repeated bending will cause an issue. That being said, to me, the advantages the flexible and slightly delicate prongs have are worth it to me. This is a great take.

I hate leaving poor reviews I really do. I don't think I've gotten 10 days of usage out of this rake. The rivets slipped out of place because they were not made right and the black bracket part connecting the shaft with the main rake base also broke at the same time. I have owned 5 other rakes. 4 of them were quite old and given to me by older neighbors when I moved into my house 9 years ago. Those four were already old when I received them and I managed to get 7-8 years of use out of those. (One broke last year, one broke at the start of this year because the wood was getting so old and brittle on those and my husband accidentally broke the third.) The other two my husband took to his business to keep the property there tidy. All I'm saying is this is the only one that has given me issue. Otherwise if this has been my first ever rake I would've chalked it up to user error. I'm disappointed and now I'm going to have to go out to the store tomorrow to buy yet another one. Otherwise it was a great rake and up until today has performed well and was easy to use and maneuver.
