I recently purchased a new vehicle before this book was published and available, and I am on a "mission" to tell as many people as I can to PLEASE read this and also don't hesitate to buy one for a friend or family member. I have read every single chapter and believe that all of it is very, very good advice. I know I was taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge. Never again! I feel like I now have the necessary information to never be taken advantage of again. From all of the chapters the most important word I have understood is NEGOTIATE. On page 86 the author mentions the most honest and trustworthy dealership was located in Millersburg, Ohio. Go figure, we live in West Palm Beach, FL and trust me I don't feel like our dealership was honest or trustworthy. That was my mistake because I did not know of all the options and choices avaialable to me as the buyer. Well, look out, because I know now after reading this very informative, easy to understand book! They may have taken me to the cleaners this time but never again! The many web sites listed in the book are a great resource and able to help you do just what the auther said, "Save you thousands of dollars and remain in control!" ... show more

The author sets a high bar: "I have spent many hours checking the internet and there is nothing out there that will compare to what you will learn from me and this book!" I just can't get past the missing words and very poor translation to kindle format that indicate a lack of editing.

I am so intimidated by buying a car! Now that that is out of the way, let me rephrase...I was intimidated! My family needed a new car and I looked online for help, asked friends, even called my brother in law who is in the business and got the usual (not overly helpful) advice. Then I was getting a book on here and happened across this book. Larry shared with me real secrets that saved me literally about $2300 on my purchase! Full of useful information that I have not seen any where else on line. After doing my own research on the internet I read the book and learned more about what is going on behind the closed doors at the car dealership. This is information that allowed me to save even more money when I bought my car.
