The lights are nice, seem pretty sturdy for the lights made in this day and age. I remember metal ones. There is a rubber washer that acts as a shock absorb-er. I put mine on a Fisher plow that had the original light cord come out of the back so I had to put some threaded rod connectors as spacers to allow enough room for the new cord that comes out of the bottom. The two bolts didn't line up with the original holes so I had to drill and jig saw a new one next to the original. The instruction sheet was minimal so I went online and got the wiring diagram from the Fisher website. Instead of putting on the whole wiring harness, I just cut off the connectors and wired them into my existing hook up already on the plow and then plugged them into the light connectors. If you do it this way, use wire connectors and heat shrink and tape to keep moisture out. I've plowed a few times with them on and the lights are pretty bright. Maybe a littler generous with my rating but I was able to install them with out too much headache for a "universal fit" ... show more

    • Mount is not very secure
The mount has little adjustment and has rubber mounts that make the light shake while driving. Also the wire that comes out of the lights is in between the two post mounts making it difficult to mount, the wire should come out of the back of the light housing instead of the bottom. The bulbs are also not as bright as I expected since they are a off brand bulb style and a standard 9006 type newer style bulb. I will probably throw away the lights when the headlight bulbs blow. ... show more

    • incredible improvement over my old original lights
received plow for free with damaged wiring. rather than try to put old back together i purchased these lights to use. i only gave 4 stars for 2 reasons, i find them to be a little expensive for 2 lights and a toggle switch although they work great and are very bright compared to the old ones and second is that the disconnect for these lights is less than a foot from the lights and i had to purchase a separate plug and wired it in where my other plow disconnects are so they would all be close to the truck when i disconnect my plow. very good upgrade to old style plow lights and assume wiring into factory plow harness would make this a 5 star item. ... show more

    • Nice product but could use a couple improvement.
The lights themselves are great! really bright, well made, and they look good. I put these on a K2 plow that I use on my ranger. I made a custom light mount and ran the wiring. Because these are universal, the instructions arent the best as they are universal so you need to get out the wiring diagram for your truck. If you arent familiar with wiring, I would but something more plug and play. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because the wiring has to be connected/disconnected right at the lights themselves and the clips are hard to get undone, especially when your hands are cold. I wish they had gone with a single larger plug that can be unplugged at the front grill of the truck so you dont have all the extra wiring bunched up at your grill. ... show more

Snow Plowing Lights are not very bright pretty disappointed but they’re all installed now so I’m stuck with them.

    • Most LED bulbs will not fit inside housing

Lights worked out perfect was able to wire my existing factory harnes right into the new lights and put LED bulbs in them as well. Be carful of the LED bulbs you purchse though if they have the real tall back the high beams wont fit inside the housing. I had to return the original ones i had purchased and find smaller ones. Also my factory lights only had 1 mounting post not two. This was easy to adapt to with a 5" long piece of 1/4" stock and drilling two 1/2" holes in it. The only reason I gave 3 stars on installation is is if you are going to use on a Fisher set up you need to separate the directional ground circuit. No problem if you can read a wiring diagram. just a heads up. It's a 10 min job pe- installation.

    • With some creativity it fit a uni mount.
Like my title I was able to get it to fit my uni mount western by bolting a bar across the top. Lights are a little better then the old original crap that was there but even then they still are not as good as I’d hope for and I probably will still just drive around with the high beams on cause they still are not as bright as most cars with low beams on. ... show more
