  • Better clarity than I expected
Color: Black Style: 10 x 25 - Porro Prism Pattern Name: Single
Compact, easy to carry, and does the job well. There are better and far more expensive binos out there but for everyday use these are far better quality than I expected. Fit easily in a small pocket or the glove box of a vehicle.

  • Great compact binoculars for construction
Color: Black Style: 10 x 25 - Porro Prism Pattern Name: Single
We use these for inspecting buildings; every estimator, project manager and quality assurance manager is issued a pair. They are lightweight, easy to carry, and powerful enough to see everything we need to on a building.

  • I'M NOT GONNA THROW 'EM OUT
Color: Black Style: 10 x 25 - Porro Prism Pattern Name: Single
I own 3 pairs of binos (Nikon Action 8x42, Nikon Travelite 9x25, Bushnell Powerview 8x21) in addition to my new pair of Bushnell Powerview 10x25. We're big Nascar fans in my house so extra binoculars come in handy at the track. My Nikons are on a higher level but so is the price. With that said, lets get to the Bushnells. My Powerview 8x21's have excellent crispness and image quality. They are well constructed, lightweight, and good looking. They don't leave much to be desired for as far as compacts are concerned and the price can't be beat. I wish I could say the same for my new Powerview 10x25. They too are lightweight, good looking, and economical. My main issue is the central focusing knob. It has too much flashback and isn't tight enough, hence, not allowing me to get a very crisp image. The only thing that saved my focus is the diopter which I can get somewhat clear. Optic aficionados may say that I'm asking for too much magnafication (10x) in too small a field of view (25). This may be true, but I doubt thats the only issue since my Nikon 9x25's (almost the same magnafiction) are impeccable. The pros may also say that the Powerviews have bak-7 prisims instead of high index bak-4's, therefore not allowing me the sharp image that i expect. This is definitely true but that still doesn't explain a few things. The image quality on my 8x21's are on a completely different level in comparison and they also have bak-7's. This could merely be a quality contol issue but coming from Bushnell, it's hard to understand. Will I buy Bushnell again? Yes, just not these. I should have bought another pair of 8x21. Will I throw them in the garbage? No, my 4 year old son gets them instead. If you can afford an extra $50, buy some Nikons. If not, go with the Powerview 8x21's. Now excuse me while I watch the race....."Gentlemen, start your engines!" ... show more

  • They don't replace my larger binoculars, but they fit in my purse and glovebox.
Color: Black Style: 10 x 25 - Porro Prism Pattern Name: Single
As I mentioned in the title, they don't replace my larger binoculars. The near focus is poor, the light gathering is only okay, and the exit pupil size is a bit small. All that said, I wanted something I could keep in my purse or glove compartment. I don't often have my larger binoculars with me. These are perfect! They are small enough to put in a vest or jacket pocket. The light gathering is very good for the size and price. They are easy to focus, even with thin gloves on. Best of all, I have them when I want them and I am not afraid I will damage them as they are easily replaced! ... show more
