Great price for an all around deer season optic. Mounted to my .308, with good rings recoil is not an issue. Glass is clear, red dot in center of optic illuminates nicely, good for high or low light conditions. Eye relief is pretty typical of an optic at this price point, but good for my intended use. Good low end priced scope. Good, clear optics; adjustments are intuitive. There is a bit of a push/pull regarding field of view focus and reticle focus when increasing magnification. Otherwise happy with scope which replaced the Gamo scope that came with my .22 cal. pellet rifle.

    • Nice light weight scope with corners cut to save pennies
PROS: - Clear Glass - Light weight - Good Zoom - Good Value Price CONS: - No Parallax adjust - Illumination adjustment knob, extremely difficult to turn - Eye focus has no markings - illumination brightness is not bright enough for day use I purchased this scope to mount on top of an 350L AR for hunting. I was looking for a lighter weight budget friendly scope and this fit the bill and provides clear glass. I own about 12 budget scopes from different brands where all of them have some type of illumination and in comparison to those different brand/models of scopes, for some reason this one is the hardest to adjust. I mean it is virtually impossible to be looking through the scope and make an adjustment of the illumination the knob is so tight. I have to rest the gun on my lap and use both hands to turn this knob. I thought if I put a little oil and rotated it a few times, gradually it may just break in and loosen but so far that has not been the case. I purchased 2 of these scopes and both of them are like this, so I doubt I got 2 bad scopes and that's just the way they are made which seems like a major flaw. I also find it extremely annoying to not have any markings on the eye piece to adjust for your eye focus. I wasn't sure it adjusted at 1st but it does, but no way to mark a default preferred setting for yourself in-case it gets bumped. The turrets also don't have a way to set them to zero once you have the scope zeroed. Bushnell definitely stepped up the quality of their glass and makes a nice light weight package with this scope but it really seems like they cut some unnecessary valuable corners to save a few pennies. My other budget value scopes are made by UTG and CV-Life. The UTG tends to be heavier than I would prefer, where the CV Life I'm preferring over the others including this Bushnell. The CV Life is very similar in that it includes the positives of this Bushnell scope but doesn't skimp on features by putting on junk turrets, no parallax and an illumination knob which is almost impossible to adjust. ... show more
