Hello, I originally bought this for my Remington 870 12 gauge but decided to use it for my 450 bushmaster. It was so easy to sight in took less then 8 shots to be within a inch from bulls eye at 100 yards. The zoom works great and the clarity was amazing (picture perfect). Great value for your money. I have harvested three wild game this year with three shots. One at 100 yards, one at 60 yards and the last shot was at 250 yards all with out having to adjust the scope. The scope rings are strong and very durable. My son had dropped the gun and landed on the scope with no damage to the scope and I was afraid the gun would be off but was still shooting within an inch of bullseye at hundred yards. One amazing scope. Will be buying again for my Remington 870 12 gauge

I own 3 of these and am very satisfied. Excellent clarity, easy to focus and very good for the price.

OK, its my second one, hence the lost star. The first one lacked quality control and had a weird smudge on the lens that I could smear around but couldn't get rid of without using some products I was a little afraid to use. But Amazon Prime to the rescue. That one went back and I got another one because the scope definitely had potential. So the second one was in great shape with no QC issues and works really well, especially for the low cost <$40 The clarity, depth of field at most zoom settings and reticle and parallax are all the equivalent of my much more expensive Leopold scope. The clarity and depth of field fall off some at the extreme upper end of the zoom but over the rest of its range it is exceptional. It has held zero through several range trips on a Ruger M77/357, admittedly not the hardest kicking gun. But you run what you brung and it is working great on my set up. It is accurate out 200 yards although I zeroed it and generally shoot it at 100 yards. It was easy to zero with the directional arrows deeply etched with contrasting paint/anodizing. The clicks (1/4 inch per click @ 100 yards - standard) are very positive without being hard to turn. It does use two small jewelers Phillip head screws on each turret that have to be loosened if you want to recalibrate the scope setting to read zero when it is "zeroed" and I would prefer less easily stripped Torx or Allen head ones but just don't over tighten. Once dialed in it doesn't wander. The amount of light it lets in, especially at dusk and dawn, is impressive and better than my Leopold. This is a second level scope with some first level performance at a cheap price. Go get 'em.

I'll just start out by saying that this is a GREAT scope for the money. I always do a weeks worth of research before I buy something like this and the scope far exceeded my expectations. All of my larger hunting rifles have way more expensive glass and yes, there is a difference between those and this. however, it makes me second guess if spending that much more on those was really worth it. Honestly holding it up to my favorite scope (vortex viper) in low light makes me feel like I was played by vortex a little. Is the viper a better scope? Yes.. but for the money? I don't know.. I still really like my viper but this one definitely holds its own in comparison. I mounted it on my 20+ year old Marlin .22 mag. and it turned my favorite varmint rifle into an absolute tack driver. I like this so much that I honestly would have no problem mounting this on one of my nice hunting rifles. Low light clarity is good, overall clarity is good, and it shoots very well. I was holding groups the size of a dime at 50 yards. I'm so glad I settled on this scope. I would have no problem buying this again. In fact, I'm here 5 years later, putting it in my cart again for a new member of my rifle family. I might go a step up in the bushnell lineup though.. decisions, decisions

These are not Uber high end scopes for big boy calibers. They are affordable. They work great for .22 cal. I own 3 of these for .22 cal. They are great for .22 cal. Mine have held zero for years. Fit and Finnish is fine. Weight is low, which is nice for a light .22 cal. Zoom and clarity are pretty good for the price. Install was easy. Instructions are good. Now, I've said that these are pretty good scopes. They are. They are affordable. They are pretty good for a .22 cal. So, would I put them on a big boy caliber high end rifle? Absolutely not. Would they hold zero? Maybe. With the price of ammo these days, spend a few extra bucks and buy an appropriate scope for the round, and you'll probably save a lot of money in the long run. If you have to go through 1/2 box every year to sight in, you're spending $10 plus a year on ammo. These are great .22 cal scopes. More than that, and I have my doubts. Would you enter your Camry in a Formula 1 race? Same applies here.

Mounted this scope to a new CVA Optima V2 muzzleloader rifle. Bore sighted then further sighted in via live fire. Scope is dead-on...was easy to make adjustments during live fire at ~100 yds. Optics are very clear and the scope IMO is as good as other brands I've used that run $200-$300 more. Simple crosshair which is all I needed for my muzzleloader since most shots are taken within 50-75 yds or less, so I rarely go beyond 4-5x zoom. Bushnell kicks in a lifetime warranty and stands behind their products. I've never had any issues with Bushnell scopes...they're durable and reliable. This Bushnell Banner scope is a great all-around, simple scope and should work well regardless of gun type...rifle, shotgun, or muzzleloader. Does not fog and works very well in low-light conditions such as dawn or dusk shooting. Highly recommend to those looking for a great all-around scope at a reasonable price.

It's bright and clear responds well to adjustments . Seems to go from cold to warm and vice versa without fogging . I see no difference in the quality of my Leupold or Redfield and like it more than the Nikon I replaced with this Bushnell. A great value . In fourty years of hunting and having tried dozens of different rifles and scopes under real field conditions I have had good service from Bushnell scopes . You can get a bad apple with any brand and I have . Even with the supposed higher quality brands. The reviews I read of these scopes failing to reach elevation and being maxxed out in adjustment are most likely a set of rings that are not aligned and either need to be lapped or shimmed . It takes very little to throw it off . I have gotten rings brand new that were not perfect . And Springer air guns will destroy any brand of scope that is not designed to handle reversed recoil . There are many an impropperly mounted scopes blamed for eratic groups . So take those reviews with a grain of salt .
