Desk was delivered a couple of days earlier than scheduled and came in two boxes, the larger one is very heavy so I helped the delivery guy haul it into my garage. My experience with previous furniture assembly made me open the smaller box first. This box contained the assembly instructions and the hardware i.e., screws etc. It also contained all of the parts for the early assembly steps. The packaging of both boxes was very good although there was a great deal of that messy packing foam pieces. I brushed off the parts as I brought them into my house. The assembly instructions were fairly straight forward and you need to take your time assembling the desk especially using the correct screws in each assembly step. Once fully assembled the desk is quite sturdy. The one area that could be improved is the keyboard tray that could be bigger with a better slide design. ... show more

I like the desk, it fit with a little adjustment in the place we wanted to put it. It took my husband and his dad a 4 or so hours to put together( but as I said that was with making it fit around the old non-working heater attached to the wall.) It was easy and the directions were easy to understand. The only thing I was not crazy about was how far the long side of the desk is out from the wall ( picture) its not big deal, just something to consider. The other side is not like that. Also it came in two different boxes and different days, which I was not told was going to happen, so I called to see what was going on, and there customer service was excellent, they answered fast and the lady was so nice and helpful. This desk was relatively easy to put together. It does take time, probably a project to do in pieces...unless you are super handy. Helps to have some room to spread out when assembling. One thing to be aware of is that in the write up on the features of the desk on Amazon it says "Concealed storage cabinet for a computer tower or supplies with rear wire access". There is no rear wire access. I had planned on putting my tower in it for more space under the desk and less wires all over, but I obviously had to rethink that. Apparently the desk USED TO have that feature but no longer does. I do have that storage cabinet for storage; however if you want the cabinet for a tower this is not the desk model for you. The desk looks nice and is pretty sturdy. It did get a ding on one of the doors to the storage cabinet, (happened in transit) but I contacted the manufacturer and they replaced it immediately, no questions asked, and it was here in 2 days. This is a solid desk for a good price. I wanted a nice looking desk for my new office but did not want to spend $1000. This one hits all the marks. Was slightly complicated to put together but mainly just a lot of steps involved - if you follow the manual it is not too bad. Love how professional this desk looks, "executive" even. I really like the desk. Kept the other one. One doesn't fit in the space available. so I want to return it,. I have requested the mailing receipt many times and I get a reply, but no sticker. It is still in the mailing boxes and I need to get it out of my garage. I am totally frustrated. I really do not like to make a complaint or have a Charge back, but I need some action. The quality of wood is okay not the best , but it look good for now , hope it stand up to moving it around in my office , for I like to change my office around twice a year ! The price is steep and the desk sit low . Easy to put together I think , my husband got it together by himself
