Looks great - but quality of finish is TERRIBLE
Color: Reclaimed Pine Size: 54W
First, be prepared to spend most of your day assembling one desk and one matching file cabinet. We bought two 2 desks and 2 file cabinets, so that was 2 afternoons for me - and I'm good at this. Fortunately, I had a phillips screw attachment for my power drill -- but beware if you use one: these units are made of particle board and you shouldn't power drive screws all the way in! Finish the last few turns by hand or you'll risk stripping out the board. The finished product looks very nice, as pictured online. However, the veneer finish is the worst I have ever seen for any furniture we've owned. I was wrapping a box for shipping and a piece of tape landed, sticky side down, on the desktop. When I pulled it off, the "finish" peeled off with the tape! The "finish" is a "foil-on" fake wood finish (which I expected) but it is actually thinner than a sheet of printer paper. Literally like an onion skin. I was able to carefully separate the "finish" chunk from the tape and super glue it back into place. For nearly $520 per set I would expect some kind of real laminate on top of the particle board. For me, this is reduces the item to junk status. Bush used to do way better than this. Knowing what I do now, I wouldn't pay more than $300 per set -- or I would pass entirely. We may need to have a local glass company cut some tops to protect the desk tops. Very sad. ... show more

Looks great
Color: Washed Gray Size: 54W
As far as manufactured furniture goes, these are pretty good. Instructions are straight forward. I like that the filing cabinet has a safety feature that does not allow both drawers to come out at the same time. They look really nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they dont seem the most durable, but time will tell. ... show more

not worth the money
Color: Reclaimed Pine Size: 54W
The instructions were far from being accurate. They weren't detailed enough. Plus one of the pieces on the desk split when I screwed it together, I haven't attempted the file cabinet yet, not looking forward to that!

A great Buy!
Color: Washed Gray Size: 54W
very attractive ... the desk is so large,. I have a 17" screen computer and plenty of room and storage. I also purchased the matching file cabinet. Like the furniture so much, I just ordered the bookcase that matches. I have lots of compliments. A great price for these two pieces.

It blows
Color: Pure White Oak Size: 54W
Took forever to build both pieces! You have to assemble every little thing. (For example, most items come the the drawer brackets on) paint peeled off when I tried removing a sticker. Particle board piece to hammer behind the cabinet was damaged. The drawer on the desk won't close all the way. It'll get me thru online school I guess. ... show more

Very nice and beautiful furniture
Color: Washed Gray Size: 54W
The furniture is very nice and sturdy. No issues at all but the desk was missing one cam bolt. Bush customer service shipped the part to me fairly quickly. The assembly will take some time and you will need patience.

LONG and costly assembly
Color: Dark Gray Hickory Size: 54W
I purchased the desk and matching file drawers. The product is fine - but just a few comments about the 3 star rating. The desk and cabinet are completely disassembled. it took 2 men 3 hours each to assemble these 2 items. Although there were directions it was still a project. Also, I just threw out 2 large garabage bags of styrofoam packing materials that were in the packaging - not environmentally friendly. Also, the desk is a good quality but it is particle board. ... show more
