We purchased this L-shaped desk, a writing desk, and a filing cabinet for a small home office. It was great to be able to get matching sets to achieve a cohesive look in the limited space. All of the pieces are well-made, sturdy, durable, and look really nice. This purchase was made before I knew I would be starting a new career where I work remotely 95 percent of the time. This furniture withstands daily use of over eight hours and is comfortable to sit at. The L-shaped desk accommodates three large monitors, a small monitor, two laptops, a desk light, a label printer, two keyboards, and two mice, while still leaving room for some paperwork. The filing cabinet is spacious, providing space for a large multi-function printer with additional room left over. We are very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The writing desk is easy to assemble and can be put together by one person, while the L-shaped desk and filing cabinet are best assembled with two people. The instructions for the L-shaped desk were somewhat confusing, requiring careful attention to the details in order to ensure the pieces face correctly. I was looking for a desk with these exact dimensions and landed in this one. It has the right amount of space for a dual monitor set up and looks great in my space. My husband put it together for me and said it wasn’t terribly difficult but did mention the design of the two strange end pieces to the desk top being unnecessarily complicated. The texture is very smooth all over but the end pieces do have a slightly more smooth finish- not a problem at all and not noticeable unless you are feeling for it. The finish is not real wood, it seems like some sort of large amazing wood finish vinyl sticker but honestly it looks great and keeps this item at a reasonable budget friendly price point. It is sturdy! It looks great. It is spacious. And I would buy it again. No regrets at all! This hard to find desks like this in stores, I looked at all the stores near me, and none had things like this in the showroom. They can order things like this but at twice the price. Simple desk with not the greatest instructions. The veneer is paper thin so keep that in mind. You are getting what you pay for. I did end up not attaching the bracket to the side pieces before placing on the base. They would not line up and the brackets did not tighten enough to feel secure enough to flip over without damage. I did screw them in at the end and they lined up fine, just loose. The desktop is sturdy however the bottom support bars are not. I would not recommend resting your feet on them. It does give off a weird smell but I’m hoping that goes away soon. Overall I like the desk. ... show more

I read a lot of reviews about this desk and was a little hesitant at first. Amazon marked the color i purchased down to $96 from $230 so I figured I would give it a shot. I just got done putting it together. Total time was probably only 45 minutes. The two side pieces with the X pattern are already put together which was a nice surprise. Most L-shaped desks don't have a decent amount of support in the corner but this one does. The cross bar goes all the way across and the two top pieces actually lock in to each other. Very clever design in my opinion. I saw a lot of people talking about the unnecessary extra pieces on top. I understand where they're coming from but I feel like it gives the desk more character. I have no doubt this desk will last me many years. I highly recommend this desk if you're in the market for a decent and affordable desk. ... show more

I had purchased another L shaped desk from Amazon but the work area was narrow. So I looked and looked for another desk. The lager desks are so pricey and you still have to put them together. It’s some times difficult to tell when you can’t see it in person. I am so glad I bought this. The working area is more bigger and now I can put my work computer (17” and 20” monitors. a laptop and docking station) all fit on one side and my personal computer on the other side. I put it together myself in around 3 hours. Directions were clear and understandable. I did put one of the pieces on backwards but I noticed it before I got to far along. I got the white one and I actually like the color. I think it is a softer white and not the bright white. I was able to to put it right side up by myself and I didn’t feel like it was going to fall apart on me. It was light but felt sturdy. Take your time putting this together, don’t rush. I felt it was well worth it taking the time. The instructions give a step by step (one page for each step). everything lined up perfectly and no missing hardware. They do have a phone number in the instructions though I didn’t need to use it so I can’t comment on the customer service. The one thing missing in this desk is the hole for all the plugs to go through so I wouldn’t push the desk completely against the wall.
