Ordered this for my daughter's room. It took a while to put together, but if you follow the instructions, it's not complicated. Each of the parts are labeled. It was challenging at first to realize that the part #'s do not match exactly to the instructions, but the last few digits do. My husband started the assembly, and I finished it after he went to work. It was not hard to jump in to finish it. It seems to be a sturdy piece. I have also ordered the cube storage unit to match and am waiting for it to arrive. I like this desk specifically because it's open enough at the bottom for me to sit next to my daughter while working on assignments. We're not crowded there. I would love to see a matching hutch for it and will be keeping my eye out for it. It's a great color, and I am planning on painting the other furniture in my daughter's room to match. The antique white is like a very light beige/eggshell/light khaki with hints of white and grey grains in it. I’ve been looking for a more professional but not ridiculously expensive WFH desk for a while now. This desk is amazing. I saw it first on Wayfair but Amazon was $100 less. It delivered a week earlier than originally estimated. It is prettier than I imagined. It took me 3 hours to assemble. I first laid out all the pieces in alpha order - so many pieces! The hardware was so perfectly organized in individual steps, so that’s a huge bonus. Definitely needed a second person as the steps progressed. The color is absolutely perfect. Plenty of room. So far so good. The desk was pretty easy to put together but did take some time. The desk did require 2 people at some steps. I think it took us about 2 hours to put the desk together. I left the having off of the drawer and cabinet to allow for wires. Also didn't install the shelf so there would be room for my computer tower and battery backup. My husband put the filing cabinet together by himself. It took a couple of hours and he said it was kind of a pain in the butt due to small screws and many parts. When putting everything together I did not notice that the surface scratches easy, which was a complaint I saw in the reviews before I bought it. Also, both pieces are antique white, not gray. This was another complaint I saw in the reviews. I do plan to always use a coaster though to avoid rings and warping. The desk and filling cabinet are sturdy and all drawers open and close nicely without any banging. I only installed hanging files in the upper drawer of the filing cabinet. Although there are a LOT of steps, the assembly directions are clear and straightforward. I was able to assemble the desk without assistance but it would have been easier with a little help. Very sturdy & looks nice. I like being able to spread out when I work and this desk has plenty of room!

The table is solid, color came as described, pretty easy to assemble, my husband did it within an hour with my daughter's "help" lol... All the pieces and nails were labeled, came with the little cream colored caps to cover the screws. All the measurements are spot on, I need to fit a file cabinet underneath and it fits perfectly. One of the pieces came cracked and we contacted the seller and they sent us a replacement within a few days. After my husband put the table together and as I was wiping it, I saw there are two spots that are stained.... T_T I don't want to wait any longer and no way my husband is going to take it apart.... Other than the stains, everything is good :) Maybe they can have the slow-closing drawer and door ledge for future model and that would have been perfect! ... show more

This desk is perfect. Not too big and now accommodates my 2 monitors. Lots of leg room, drawer and a cabinet. Love the color. My boyfriend put it together so I can't attest to how easy or hard it was. He didn't seem to have any trouble. This was a great purchase and a great price.
