Though the particles in this face scrub are more coarse than in many others, it works fine for me. But the scent is stronger and longer-lasting than I had expected, given that the scent is enhanced by chemical additives. I bought this exfoliating face wash for my husband after his old one started bothering his skin, and he absolutely loves this one so much more. He says it's much more refreshing on the skin with a cooling sensation, and so far it has not bothered his skin. Very nice and refreshing face scrub! Doesn't take a lot to clean your whole face and it has a wonderful menthol cool effect after the wash. Great product!

The cleansing base is fine, but I found that the sand or whatever is too coarse and I feel like I'm scraping sandpaper against my face whenever I use it. I bought this after using some other product of my wife's, hers is too floral scented for my liking, but the particles are much finer and more comfortable. ... show more

Tried this face scrub when my usual was discontinued. My usual had a cooling effect from menthol and I really liked it. This scrub advertised that it does, but i didn’t get that cooling sensation. The grit in the scrub is larger/courser than most I have tried. It did leave my face feeling clean. The scent was feminine, like a powdery smell, it wasn’t repulsive just not masculine. All in all its a good scrub for the price. I didn’t like the smell and lack of cooling effect. I did like grit and clean feeling after using. I wont get it again but its just not for me, may be great for the next person depending on their preferences. ... show more
