I have been using this scrub as part of my shower and morning routine for close to two years and have never had a compliant. It works as a great exfoliant, easy to use, and quick to apply. I have seen tangible improvements overall and will continue to buy the scrub.

Tried this face scrub when my usual was discontinued. My usual had a cooling effect from menthol and I really liked it. This scrub advertised that it does, but i didn’t get that cooling sensation. The grit in the scrub is larger/courser than most I have tried. It did leave my face feeling clean. The scent was feminine, like a powdery smell, it wasn’t repulsive just not masculine. All in all its a good scrub for the price. I didn’t like the smell and lack of cooling effect. I did like grit and clean feeling after using. I wont get it again but its just not for me, may be great for the next person depending on their preferences. ... show more

I bought this exfoliating face wash for my husband after his old one started bothering his skin, and he absolutely loves this one so much more. He says it's much more refreshing on the skin with a cooling sensation, and so far it has not bothered his skin. I'll come back and update the review if that changes, but it's looking like this is going to be his go to face wash from now on! ... show more

    • It’s okay
The cooling face scrub by Burt's Bees, designed for men and featuring aloe and hemp, left me with some mixed impressions. On the one hand, I didn't particularly notice a pronounced cooling effect during use, which was a bit disappointing. However, there were several positive aspects worth noting. One of the highlights was the inclusion of pumice in the scrub. It provided a pleasant and effective exfoliation, effectively removing dead skin. I also noticed that it seemed to be addressing the issue of blackheads on my nose, which was a definite plus. The exfoliating properties were quite commendable. On the downside, the scent of this scrub didn't exactly win me over. It had a somewhat earthy aroma, reminiscent of clay, and I personally wished for a more appealing fragrance. Fragrance can be a subjective matter, but a more pleasant scent would have certainly enhanced the overall experience. Following the use of this scrub, I made sure to apply a moisturizer. This extra step was important for me, as I couldn't confidently say whether the scrub itself had any moisturizing properties. Nonetheless, what I can confirm is that after using this product, my skin did indeed feel clean and refreshed. In summary, the product has its merits. The exfoliation with pumice is effective at removing dead skin and dealing with blackheads, but the lackluster scent may not be to everyone's liking. It's important to follow up with a moisturizer if you have dry skin, as the product's moisturizing effects are somewhat uncertain. Nevertheless, if a deep-cleaning, exfoliating scrub is what you're after, this product is worth considering. ... show more
