I’m a huge Burt’s Bees fan. I never bought anything BB until I started with a cute onesie for my baby. Since the first onesie, I’ve branched out to their other products. My baby finally grew out of the swaddle phase, then out of the “half swaddle” (swaddled below the arms.) now she’s moved into this sleep sack. I love the 1.5 tog! It’s nicely quilted, not heavy, and not thin. It’s so soft! I’ve washed it quite a few times now and it holds up as a true quality product. My baby is usually in a long sleeve onesie, so her arms are covered by (usually BB) cotton. She stays warm and comfortable through the night. *remember, babies should be in one more layer than you before six months old.* This sleeper will last quite a while because it’s long with lots of growing room for legs. I think it will last until she’s over six months, (and she’s big for her age in length.) The zipper was a little weird to master at first because it zips down which is different than I’m used to. It has a zipper protector at the bottom so baby can sleep without bother. Last but not least, I absolutely love the pattern. So cute. I highly recommend. I’m going to keep my eye out for a sale on the other 1.5 togs for winter time. ... show more

My baby outgrew the small so moved up a size. Zipper works fine and the quilt one is perfect since we always keep our house cool at night. She doesn’t and never over heated in this sleep sac which was what my mama anxiety was afraid of. She’s warm but not hot and comfy. It’s the perfect sleep sac.

I’ve used this sleep sack for my baby every night since we received it! It looked really massive at first, but all of the extra room is great for her to be able to move her legs around and be comfortable. The material is 100% organic cotton and is very soft. We live in Texas where it is finally getting cold, especially at night, so I dress my baby in a long sleeved and footed thicker sleep n play pajamas, and then put her inside this “beekeeper” sleep sack, and it keeps her warm through the night. We gave our niece three of these before her baby was born and two more for Christmas for her now 4 month old. She loves them and had asked for more (and she never asks for anything). I usually don't buy from companies that aren't vegan, but Burt's Bees has had to become an exception. The fabrics are insanely soft and the products are so well made and adorable. I’ve purchased a few different sleep sacks since my kiddo is on the taller end and grows out of them quickly. Burts bees is my favorite so far for many reasons. First, it’s roomy but not so roomy I worry about little guy at night (plus he doesn’t outgrow it as fast). Second, it’s the perfect thickness. We live in a hot climate and the cotton is just right, not too thin where he gets cold, but just heavy enough it keeps him cozy without overheating. The fabric is also soft and lasts through wash after wash. The only thing I wish it had was a double zipper, but that’s not a huge deal as you can still do diaper changes without having to unzip the entire sleep sack (and risk waking your little one). This is my second one and I still love it for my son. He sleeps in this every night. It’s thick and comfortable for them to wear. I like the sturdy zipper that will not break easy. You can buy this big and it will still work great and they can grow into it which means longer use!

My baby started rolling so we could no longer use the swaddle. Baby wasn’t sleeping well until we purchased this. It’s great for transitioning from the swaddle and gives them comfort to sleep (and mobility). Plus, it’s very cute and a good value for the money. The only thing is the zipper can be hard to latch and will wake baby up 9/10. I would put baby down when they’re awake and let this signal sleep time because of the noise.
