We’ve always used Carter’s pj’s and so I was nervous about sizing after reading so many reviews about ordering up. I actually was originally ordering these as a gift for a 9 month old who’s sort of right on the cusp of outgrowing her 9 month clothes and starting to transition into some 12 month sizes. I figured I was safe ordering a 12 month size for her, but after reading so many reviews, I ordered both a 12 month and 18 month. I have a small 17 month old daughter, so I figured I could return either size if needed or just keep the bigger size for her. When they arrived they looked extremely long, but after washing and drying the 18 month size fits my daughter really well. The 12 month size also worked fine for the 9 month old. For reference, my daughter is about 21 lbs and has a long torso with short legs. She’s actually a big between sizes 12 and 18 months. The 18 month pants are still a little long but 18 month tops fit her fairly well. 12 month pants fit her better but 12 month onesies are difficult to snap at the crotch and a little snug on her arms and chest. For pajamas, she hasn’t been able to wear Carter’s 12 month pj’s for a while bc they are too short from her crotch to shoulders and also too restricting across her back and around her neck. They were starting to get difficult to put on and I felt like they were restricting and uncomfortable for her to sleep in. Pulling down around the neck from the crotch. The Carter’s 18 month fit her well but she does still have room to grow in them. They sometimes will flop off from around her foot bc they’re a little long... especially in the morning after sleeping in them all night. The Burt’s Bees seem better at fitting her feet well and staying put around her ankles. But definitely not at all too tight around her ankles. I love the fitted ankles and wrists. On her, they are nice and fitted without being uncomfortably snug or tight. And I feel like she has room in the length and thighs to grow some, but the fitted ankles keep them in place even with the room, where the Carter’s will flop off with the extra length. So I would say they’re similar to Carter’s sizes, but with a more sleek/fitted cut, especially around the wrists and ankles. For her, they’re actually a better fit. So if your baby has chubby wrists or ankles, and if the corresponding Carter’s size is already very snug on your baby, then I would size up. Otherwise the sizing seems pretty true to size. Including some pictures of her in the 18 month Burt’s Bees and in 18 month Carter’s for comparison. You can see the difference in the feet and ankles. Both sets of pictures are in the morning after being slept in and stretched some overnight. Burt’s bees is first wear after only one washing and the Carter’s have been washed a ton. Hope this review helps bc I was so confused as to what size to order! And the pajamas are very soft and so adorable. I can see how people maybe wouldn’t like the material if they’re too snug and it sort of stretches, and pulls the print apart. But for us they’ve been great because they fit well and seem extremely comfortable.

We started buying matching family PJs in 2020. Bought from Kohl’s and Target. They were ok and did the trick in adding some fun to our holiday season. However, this set from Burt’s Bees is hands down our favorite (kids said so themselves!) because they feel super comfortable and are visually easy on the eyes. We like how there are Christmas lights on the cabins but it’s only really noticeable if you look close-up. For us that’s a win because it’s a set of PJs that will be easy to wear after Christmas, for the remainder of winter. Pockets in the adult pants are helpful and feel like a must these days with having three littles. The adult M (men) and XL (women) fit true to size. Just slightly loose/baggy, after being washed, which we like. We did size up for our kids in hopes they could still squeeze into this set next winter. However, the current sizes we got them seem snug enough that it may just last this winter. Our 7 y/o typically wears size 8, so we ordered a size 10. Our 4 y/o typically wears a size 5T, so we ordered 6 years. For our 9-month old, we ordered the 12 mons size—and her’s are notably bigger but wearable. What’s true for all of them is that the shirts fit closer to their normal current size instead of bigger… So, if I were to buy these in person, I would have bought a size or two bigger for their shirts. However, that’s not enough to knock it down from 5-stars for me, as everyone is happy about this new family set of PJs! We also bought the matching dog bandana. Couldn’t help it. Our old boy looks adorable in it :)

Fantastic jammies! We bought this 12M outfit for my daughter and it was perfect! The material was well made and the item was exactly as advertised. This was well used during the winter months and held up to at least 10 washes (maybe more). It still looked and felt brand new each time. BB makes fantastic and beautiful clothes and these didn't disappoint! Her dimensions at the time were: Weight: 22 lbs Height: 30 to 31 inches. Ratings: ⭐️ 1 star = Unsatisfactory. The product was either severely damaged, extremely poor quality, or doesn't match the advertised description at all. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars = Needs improvement. Product may be slightly damaged, so so quality, only matches the advertised description somewhat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars = Average satisfactory. Product isn't damaged, but the quality still is just okay. The item matches the description advertised, but overall it is still underwhelming. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars = Exceeds expectations. The product is well made and works as described. The item and the description match. There are still slight things that could be improved to make it more superior. Good value for your money. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = 5 stars. Exceptional. The product is by far superb. This can include colors, materials, texture, mechanics, packaging presentation, etc. I would recommend and purchase from this vendor again!

These are so soft and great quality. Got all the sizes from the newborn onesie, kids medium, and adult women and men’s sizes. The only difference in men and women is the pants bottom being loose or fitted and a slight difference in the neck stitching of the shirt but very similar. So soft and beautiful for all winter long! True to size, shrank slightly after the first wash and dry.

These pajamas are really cute. My crew loves them for our annual Christmas pjs. They are soft and thick. The top fits well and the waist of the pants is true to size; however, the pants are really long! I’m 5’2” and these pants have an easy 4-6 extra inches. You can’t really even tell the pants are cuffed because the rest of the pants leg hangs down Past the cuff. I typically expect pants to be long on me, but these are really long.
