Purchased this desk 5 month ago, wanted a big desk but had to be duel motors and not cost an arm and a leg. Price is excellent for what you get. I think they keep it down by making the top of the desk modular - 4 pieces, not one giant piece. Set up is easy, took about 30 mins. Instructions were clear. Desk up and down works very smoothly, and quiet. I like the slight curve at the front, but some might not like it if they use a straight edge desk topper. One thing to keep in mind: since it's modular, be careful with spilled liquid. One of the controller units sits in the middle. I learned the hard way after spilling coffee, it got damaged, wouldn't work any more. BUT! I contacted them via Amazon and they sent me a replacement unit free of charge. Works again. I put tape on the underside just in case of future clumsy spills. So 5 stars total for: great price, excellent table, smooth and quiet operation, and great customer service! Pros: *The size of the desk is great, especially if you have multiple monitors and need the extra space *I found it easy to assemble however, plan for a couple of hours *Love the ability to easily raise and lower the desk to allow you to sit or stand Cons: *The desk stopped working with days I've reached out to support to get help and will update my review based on what happens from here. I've had this desk for a year now. It is everything as advertised. No issues with the motor. Has acceptable range of height. I'm 6'1" and it works for me. (I set it up with the wheels on.) If you are shorter, you may want to leave the wheels off so the desk surface is a little lower. I really like the "L" shape. Like all laminate surfaces, the edges will chip easily, so be careful not to bang your chair into the edge. Otherwise, the surface is very tough and wares well and has maintained its "new" look. ... show more

I love the quality of this. I’ve purchased a number of pieces of furniture that I have to assemble myself, and they are always garbage. This one surprised me how nice it was to assemble and how high-quality the parts are. It gets short enough and tall enough for me (6’ guy) and it’s nice and deep so it can hold a lot. It can lift quite a lot of weight, more than I expected. My only complaint is minor, when, setting the heights, it makes a beep sound. That’s about twice as loud as it needs to be. ... show more

Desk comes with a lot of parts to put it together, but directions are clear and well written. only thing is they say its super quiet and it's not at least mine isnt. I'll live with it! over all the desk is a 10/10 lots of space.
