I spend most of week driving all over Central Texas visiting dealerships, running back roads, rough ranch roads, construction zones, and sitting in highway traffic between Austin, San Antonio, Killeen, Marble Falls, Waco, and College Station. My truck is basically my mobile office, so I needed something that could actually handle real-world use without shaking apart or looking cheap. This Bulletpoint/Rubigrid setup absolutely delivered. Installed it in my 2026 Sierra 1500 SLT Texas Edition 4x4 with the gasoline 6.2 V8 Vortec Engine, and it honestly looks like GM should’ve built it this way from the factory. The fitment is clean, the hardware is heavy duty, and the carbon fiber telescopic arms look right at home in the truck interior. What impressed me most is how solid everything stays while driving. Most mounts start wobbling the second you hit potholes, cattle guards, rough caliche roads, or expansion joints on I-35. This thing stays planted. No rattles, no sagging, no bouncing around while driving. I’m running the magsafe iPhone phone mount and then another arm setup for accessories like my escort solo radar detector, and even with daily use getting in and out of the truck constantly, it hasn’t loosened up. My iPhone stays locked in place whether I’m running 80 down the highway or bouncing through rough parking lots at dealerships. Another big plus is how adjustable the telescopic arms are. You can get everything exactly where you want it without blocking vents or the screen. Makes navigation, calls, and workflow way easier when you spend hours behind the wheel every day. This isn’t one of those cheap Amazon mounts with plastic clips and suction cups that melt in Texas heat after two months. This setup feels overbuilt in the best possible way. Pros: * Rock solid even on rough back roads * Looks factory installed * Heavy-duty hardware * Strong magnetic hold * No windshield suction cups * Clean professional setup for work trucks * Easy to customize and expand Cons: * Costs more than the cheap mounts * Once you install it, every other mount feels junky If your truck is your office like mine is, this setup is worth every penny. The size is great, and it does have value for money and they are very functional for what i have mounted, i was worried about the plastic that has the screw holes breaking the ball off but after a bit of high speed off roading the held up, ive got an iPhone pro max and it didn’t break, iam a bit concerned though about the plastic and how its mounted if its some kind of glue iam fearing that it will melt in the summer since me have temperatures upto 140 here ... show more

These are very well made and mount easily on Bulletpoint's Rubigrid mounting base. This mounting system works very well in a 2nd generation Toyota Tacoma. The balls on the mounts are machine turned out of hard polymer, rather than the molded rubber balls on Ram mounts. The Ram balls have a tendency to deform over time and in extreme heat. I haven't seen any deformation of these Bulletpoint balls, even after a year's use. One caveat is to make sure that you are ordering the correct diameter balls. Depending on what you want to mount, there are several different diameters and it makes a big difference. ... show more

Bolted right up to the rubigrid in my Ram 1500. It came with nylon nuts with washers as well as the quick nuts that slot into the grid and hold themselves while you tighten the bolts. It holds an arm with ohibe attached with no wobble, seems just as secure as my 4 bolt 20mm mount
