They leak slightly if left on their side but they're easy for myself and even my younger kids to grab and fill up and put in their backpacks. I have a boy and a girl, so it was perfect to give them each two colors. These are great for bringing the kids all over and having their water last!! I send my son to school with his and it works great. The only thing that I don't like is the handle straps all broke off within a week. You also have to be careful on the lids in the dishwasher. The trick for me is to put them on the lower rack on top of the folded down rack spikes. If the lid does get ripped off, it still works great. Overall, we love these!! The bottles arrived on time and were packed well. They didn’t leak and survived the top rack of the dishwasher well. The little lanyards break off easily so don’t depend on them being there long, otherwise an excellent bottle.

We weren't expecting a lot but these are very cheaply made. They're thin and the lids don't line up well. They do work, but they don't last long. I would not recommend putting them in a dishwasher.
