  • Great for travel, not great on gravel
Color: DEEP INDIGO
Great stroller. Wheels are pretty small so it doesn't go over gravel well, but for a city stroller that also fits on an airplane, it's great. Really good for toting a baby or luggage through the airport. Lightweight, functional, really easy to open and close with one hand. Expensive but worth it.

  • Like a Mercedes among strollers, but still overpriced ;)
Color: DEEP INDIGO
After using another travel stroller, roughly half the price of this one, we decided to check what’s that hype on Bugaboo Butterfly 2 about. Well, the first moment I pushed it I felt a striking difference in quality of push, wheels, suspension, and child comfort - compared to our previous travel stroller. The stroller drives suuuper smoothly, almost effortlessly, has a perfect maneuverability, a very comfortable cushioned seat, excellent upright seat position. Canopy is deep and provides good protection against sun/light during the naps. My son - a very difficult stroller napper - fell asleep within 10 min of strolling in this one, when we used it for the very first time! It also has an amazingly smooth fold and unfold. It is quite sturdy and stable for this category, I can’t feel that I’m pushing a baby almost twice the weight of the stroller alone. The wheels and suspension are genius! We live in NYC, in a neighborhood with lots of heavily cracked pavements - the wheels haven’t gotten stuck even once. Sure, it’s not like a full sized stroller but close! And compared to other small sized options, I’m genuinely impressed. Again, this review is based on my comparison with our other travel stroller, which my son wasn’t very keen on sitting in (seat was leaning back too much in the most upright position, maybe cushioning and design weren’t comfortable enough for him either), and although it went through a lot of cracked, damaged pavements and cobblestones during travels, the wheels would regularly get stuck on any bigger bumps and edges, and the stroller would stop and almost tip over as we were pushing it with a higher pace/force. This doesn’t happen to Butterfly! Having said that, I do think it’s a bit overpriced. I think price range closer to Yoyo 3, Uppababy Minu 3, or Ergobaby Metro 3 Deluxe would be more adequate. ... show more

  • Great stroller, fit for purpose
Color: GREEN
We have a fox 5 and got this for travel/car trunk. It rides so smooth and baby looks super comfortable in it! Haven’t been on an airplane yet but measures correctly for overhead compartments!

  • Researched Travel Strollers For A Month: In Depth Review Researched Travel Strollers For A Month: In Depth Review
Color: DEEP INDIGO
I have had this stroller for 3 months. I use it every time I am running errands, use the car seat adapter, the bumper bar, and traveled through an airport with it. I LOVE IT. I was between the Joolz and bugaboo. I ultimately went with bugaboo. I think Joolz is newer to the US market and not 1 store within a 100 mile radius even carried a Joolz to try which led me to purchasing the bugaboo. In no particular order: First, the fold is great. It took a few tries to nail the folding. At first, I could only do a one handed fold by pushing the stroller horizontal to the floor into the ground. Overtime, I figured out how to fold it vertical on the ground one handed. It’s hard to explain but you just have to fold it enough to get the hang of it. Second, I love the buckle and straps. It is so easy. Every time I use my big stroller (different brand) it reminds me how much I love the bugaboo strap system lol. Third, I don’t use the storage basket for my diaper bag often. Storage basket was never a huge concern for me. I don’t have a massive diaper bag by any means. The storage basket capacity is plenty for me. Fourth, I definitely recommend purchasing the bumper bar. I will say the installation of the bumper bar is so bizarre. I had to watch a video bc it makes no sense. Once it’s installed I love it. I attach toys to it and it gives my baby something to do with her hands. Fifth, the car seat adapter is worth it if you are still using the infant car seat. I use the Nuna car seat with it. You will have to slightly recline the seat to click in the car seat. To take the car seat out you will need to have your foot on the basket of the stroller otherwise you will lift the car seat and stroller. You can also have the bumper bar and car seat adapters on at the same time. You just need to unclip one side of the bumper bar and have it rest near the canopy. Sixth, canopy is great. Plenty of coverage. Peek a boo window is great too. Seventh, the stroller pushes very smoothly. I’ve pushed through grass at the park, bumpy gravel on pavement, sidewalk cracks, grocery store, and it pushes just fine. Eighth, after pushing my massive stroller through grocery stores and storing my massive stroller in the car I instantly knew I wanted something smaller. The bugaboo goes through the stores amazingly. It maneuvers great. I’ve gone through teeny tiny aisles with no issues. My big stroller I was constantly hitting things and turning in an aisle was hard. Ninth, I used the Momcozy storage caddy with this stroller. The Momcozy caddy works but sticks out quite a bit. I just switched to the itzy ritzy caddy and it’s a lot slimmer! Tenth, I added reflective strips to the stroller shortly after I purchased it. We do a lot of evening/ night walks. It is important to us that we are visible at nighttime. After living near a university and driving at night time, you are not nearly as visible as you think you are when a car is driving toward you or at you when it is dark. However, some students would have the SMALLEST reflective logo on their shoe or backpack and they would be visible a mile up the road and would instantly stand out. Invest in your reflective gear if you are out at nighttime! Eleventh, the recline is great. It’s almost a full flat recline. It’s plenty for nap time. It is easy to recline the seat and put back up right. Twelfth, the stroller is LIGHT. Even with the caddy, bumper bar, and car seat adapters. I can still fling it around one handed. Thirteenth, the seat sits great upright. After researching travel strollers, a very common issue is that the stroller backs do not sit up right enough and are very reclined. This is due to the stroller being smaller and the center of mass needing to be properly distributed. My baby always looks comfortable in the stroller and is plenty upright for her. Fourteenth, I’ve seen some reviews online saying the stroller is “tippy” because of the small frame size. I haven’t had any issues with the stroller tipping. Maybe it’s more tippy when you have a larger child in the stroller? I’ve never had any issues with the stroller being tippy even with making sharper turns. I was researching travel strollers DAILY for an entire month because I was so indecisive. From the super budget options to the premium options. There is no true “perfect” travel stroller. Every stroller will have its pros and cons. The reason I ultimately picked Bugaboo over the Joolz was because the Joolz reclining mechanism looks horrendous. Joolz has no peek a boo window. And Joolz has mesh on the side pieces when you have stroller reclined. I’m sure I still would’ve been happy with the Joolz, but there also aren’t that many reviews on it since it’s so new. My reason for 4 stars: My only complaints for the bugaboo is the handle bar height and that the front wheels do not lock in place for rougher terrain. I wish the handle bar was either adjustable or at least 2+ inches taller. I’m 5’5” and it’s a comfortable height for me but I still love a taller handle bar. My husband is 6’3” and it’s fine for him but he wishes it was taller too. I wish the front wheels could lock in place for rougher terrain like grass or gravel. Not a huge deal since it’s mainly used for errands but would be nice if it had it considering the price point. Another “complaint” I have is that when the stroller is folded the canopy bulges out. This is where Joolz is superior with the “look” of the stroller. The Joolz has a zipper mechanism on the stroller that keeps all of the bunched up fabric secured. Whereas on the bugaboo, the back rest pushes on the canopy causing a chaotic bulged out look. It’s not a big deal, it’s just an aesthetic thing. I am ultimately VERY pleased with my purchase. I look forward to using this stroller anytime I am out. I keep the stroller in the car at all times. I watched every single YT review video, YT short, Instagram reel, you name it. I watched so many travel stroller comparison video reviews. It took me forever to make a decision. So if you are like me and indecisive, just know that I love my travel stroller and so happy with it! ... show more

  • Despite these minor concerns, I highly recommend the Bugaboo Butterfly 2
Color: HERITAGE BLACK
I purchased the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 in classic black, and overall, I’m very happy with it. The sleek all-black design, including the wheels, looks incredibly stylish and fits beautifully in any environment. It’s super lightweight, very easy to maneuver, and folding/unfolding is effortless. I love the adjustable harness lengths — perfect for when my child is sitting or lying down — and the large canopy offers excellent coverage. However, there are a few minor points worth mentioning. I had hoped that the fabric in the second model would be improved and fade less over time, but it seems similar to the first version. The frame material also scratches quite easily — a light touch against almost any object can leave small marks. I had hoped these issues would be addressed in this updated model. Additionally, the stroller doesn’t come with a cup holder or bumper, although these can be purchased separately. Despite these minor concerns, I highly recommend the Bugaboo Butterfly 2. It’s stylish, practical, and easy to use — everything I need in a premium stroller. For the price, some small improvements could make it perfect, but it’s still an excellent choice for any parent looking for a lightweight, versatile stroller. ... show more

  • Great quality
Color: HERITAGE BLACK
Love this stroller! Folds small and so easy to unfold one handed. Very light and looks great. Only downside is that you have to buy a bumper bar and other accessories separate which is a bummer since the stroller itself is pricey.
