This is a fantastic stroller. The quality is absolutely amazing. It both looks and feels like a luxury stroller that is built to last. At first glance I questioned the use of plastic for certain areas because ultimately in my mind I thought metal would have been a better choice for the foot rest since the foot rest can be used to carry the stroller. Fortunately, they did their homework with the design and the plastic components work exceptionally well and decrease the weight of the stroller. This stroller is an excellent option to travel. I’ve had to chose my stroller or making my flight on one occasion, so when I saw the dimensions and realized this is carryon size I was sold. This feels and looks like a full stroller with everything, no compromising here! It is much nicer than the personal item sized strollers like the gb pocket stroller line. With this I don’t feel like I’m sacrificing comfort or quality. It’s also the easiest travel stroller I have ever used. Trust me when I say that! I’ve been stared down during boarding trying to fold down a gb pocket. I just couldn’t get it folded fast enough! This however folds in a second with the push of 2 little buttons! I was absolutely gobsmacked by how quickly it folds up. Everything makes sense with this stroller. They designed every aspect perfectly. Many pieces have multiple functions and are adjustable to fit your needs. This offers everything and beyond being a great travel stroller I recommend it as an everyday stroller. This is truly an all in one luxury stroller. This stroller is the equivalent of a little black dress in my closet. You can take this anywhere! It’s my go to. It’s so easy to use and makes the hustle and bustle of life feel more comfortable.

There are many excellent improvements compared to the original Butterfly. Most notable is the height and depth of the seat. My son just turned one, and he is in the upper 90th percentile for height and weight. He looks much more comfortable and has plenty of room to grow. The Butterfly 2 also sits more upright, which was my main complaint with the original. Adjusting the footrest is super easy with just one button and can be done one-handed. The under-seat storage is spacious and fits our diaper bag perfectly. I really like the added pocket behind the seat—plenty of storage for outings. Another great improvement is the larger, thicker front and back wheels, which are easier to maneuver. This upgrade makes for a noticeably smoother, more comfortable ride. Next up is the fold. The folded size is nearly identical to the original, and the folding method is the same. The fold buttons are both located on the handle and can easily be used one-handed. Now for the complaints. First, the bumper bar is sold separately, which is a big drawback. The bumper bar I purchased for my Butterfly 1 is not compatible with the 2, which means that’s another $55 I’ll have to spend. Second, the color. It’s listed on Amazon as “Taupe,” but on Bugaboo’s website, it’s called “Desert Taupe.” In the photos online, it looks very light, but in person, it has a deeper, pink earthy tone. I thought it was just me, but I asked friends and family, and most agreed that the fabric has a bit of pink to it. It’s most noticeable on the inside of the canopy. So, it’s not completely taupe and could be a downside if you’re looking for a more neutral tone. Overall, the Butterfly 2 has a lot of great improvements and is still a great, compact, lightweight (16-pound) travel stroller. I definitely recommend it.

This Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Travel Stroller has a 2button click to fold open and close and is beautiful in the color green. It easily opened and closed to about the size of a backpack in a few seconds and the leg recliner doubles as a carry handle. It clicks into place so I felt confident that it was sturdy and ready for my son. Overall it's not too heavy to carry when I need it but it's not in use. The removable seat pad adds cushion and comfort and will make messes easier to cleanup but I've been lucky so far. It's super easy to take the seat upright to naptime positions and the overhead sunshade moves to several positions also. I personally loved the underneath basket area as it helped me keep my hands free from holding a diaper bag or smaller purchases at the store making this very functional for every day use. Overall I am happy to have something so versatile living in a big city and as someone who travels frequently, this is now my go-to stroller.

The media could not be loaded. The stroller does not lay flat like in the pictures. I brought it to a store in Iceland (where I live) to compare it to other Bugaboo butterfly 2 strollers and it does not lay flat like they do. I am very unhappy as that was one of the biggest reasons I bought it.

The stroller was delayed in the shipping transit so I didn’t managed to get it on time before my flight home and now it is stuck in my brother apartment. In addition, according to the images it seems like it supposed to have newborn recline but when the stroller arrived my brother opened it and it is in 145 angle like the old version, than I understood that in the states the new version is not with newborn recline. You should change the images it is misleading if I would know it in advance I wouldn’t order it at all cause there is no difference from the old version and it is not suitable for my 4 months baby. Now I need to ask my brother with handling the return.
