  • Like a Mercedes among strollers, but still overpriced ;)
Color: Blue
After using another travel stroller, roughly half the price of this one, we decided to check what’s that hype on Bugaboo Butterfly 2 about. Well, the first moment I pushed it I felt a striking difference in quality of push, wheels, suspension, and child comfort - compared to our previous travel stroller. The stroller drives suuuper smoothly, almost effortlessly, has a perfect maneuverability, a very comfortable cushioned seat, excellent upright seat position. Canopy is deep and provides good protection against sun/light during the naps. My son - a very difficult stroller napper - fell asleep within 10 min of strolling in this one, when we used it for the very first time! It also has an amazingly smooth fold and unfold. It is quite sturdy and stable for this category, I can’t feel that I’m pushing a baby almost twice the weight of the stroller alone. The wheels and suspension are genius! We live in NYC, in a neighborhood with lots of heavily cracked pavements - the wheels haven’t gotten stuck even once. Sure, it’s not like a full sized stroller but close! And compared to other small sized options, I’m genuinely impressed. Again, this review is based on my comparison with our other travel stroller, which my son wasn’t very keen on sitting in (seat was leaning back too much in the most upright position, maybe cushioning and design weren’t comfortable enough for him either), and although it went through a lot of cracked, damaged pavements and cobblestones during travels, the wheels would regularly get stuck on any bigger bumps and edges, and the stroller would stop and almost tip over as we were pushing it with a higher pace/force. This doesn’t happen to Butterfly! Having said that, I do think it’s a bit overpriced. I think price range closer to Yoyo 3, Uppababy Minu 3, or Ergobaby Metro 3 Deluxe would be more adequate. ... show more

  • Great for travel, not great on gravel
Color: Blue
Great stroller. Wheels are pretty small so it doesn't go over gravel well, but for a city stroller that also fits on an airplane, it's great. Really good for toting a baby or luggage through the airport. Lightweight, functional, really easy to open and close with one hand. Expensive but worth it.

  • Despite these minor concerns, I highly recommend the Bugaboo Butterfly 2
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 in classic black, and overall, I’m very happy with it. The sleek all-black design, including the wheels, looks incredibly stylish and fits beautifully in any environment. It’s super lightweight, very easy to maneuver, and folding/unfolding is effortless. I love the adjustable harness lengths — perfect for when my child is sitting or lying down — and the large canopy offers excellent coverage. However, there are a few minor points worth mentioning. I had hoped that the fabric in the second model would be improved and fade less over time, but it seems similar to the first version. The frame material also scratches quite easily — a light touch against almost any object can leave small marks. I had hoped these issues would be addressed in this updated model. Additionally, the stroller doesn’t come with a cup holder or bumper, although these can be purchased separately. Despite these minor concerns, I highly recommend the Bugaboo Butterfly 2. It’s stylish, practical, and easy to use — everything I need in a premium stroller. For the price, some small improvements could make it perfect, but it’s still an excellent choice for any parent looking for a lightweight, versatile stroller. ... show more

  • Great quality
Color: Black
Love this stroller! Folds small and so easy to unfold one handed. Very light and looks great. Only downside is that you have to buy a bumper bar and other accessories separate which is a bummer since the stroller itself is pricey.

  • Great quality and lightweight
Color: Green
This is a great product. Exceeded my expectations in many ways. It's super lightweight, easy to fold/unfold, and it's made of high quality materials, including the wheels.

  • Easy and Light
Color: Desert Taupe
My husband and I are obsessed with this stroller. I wish we didn't bother with a full size and only got this one instead. The stroller is light, made well, easy to open and close, and easy to put into a lie down position (and big plus, it fits easily into the accessory backpack we also bought for it.) The only downside to this stroller is that it doesn't come with a bumper bar (but a lot of strollers don't...which is annoying) and the compatible bumper bar for this stroller is on back order...good thing I bought this stroller with time to spare before my big trip. ... show more

  • Lightweight, super practical, and great for travel — but a few design quirks
Color: Black
We’re not a “stroller family” at all, but we bought the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 when our baby was about 9 months old, and it’s the first and only stroller we’ve owned so far. And honestly — we love it. It’s super lightweight, very easy to fold and unfold, and the all-black design looks sleek. It also fits in the overhead compartment on planes, which is a huge plus for travel. That said, it’s not meant for rough terrain, so it’s best for city use, malls, airports, and smooth surfaces. A couple of small design details could be improved: • The sun canopy isn’t perfect — either the baby is directly in the sun, or when the canopy is fully closed, they can’t really see the road anymore. • The seat back could use one more upright position; it’s a bit reclined even at its most vertical. • And of course, the stroller is expensive, even for a travel stroller. Despite these minor issues, we still really enjoy using it. It’s incredibly convenient, feels well-made, and has made traveling with our baby much easier. Final verdict: A top-tier lightweight travel stroller — ultra practical and stylish, but with a few small design flaws and a premium price. Still a solid 4-star purchase for us. ... show more

  • Best travel stroller
Color: Black
My absolute favorite travel stroller that I’ve tried. Folds up small enough, yet still sturdy and highly maneuverable. I wish I bit the bullet and bought this as our first travel stroller.
