  • LOVE this travel stroller
Color: Forest Green
We use our Uppababy Cruz V2 as our regular stroller, but we love this Buggaboo Butterfly! The size is amazing and fits compactly in the trunk of our CR-V, so we just keep it there for unplanned shopping trips and such. The ride is smooth and it's comfortable to push for my husband (6'0") and I (5'8"). The wheel base is a little narrow in the back, but that's what makes it so compact when folded. I could see how it would be easy to tip, but you just have to be careful and not make sudden tight turns. We loop our hands through the safety strap when pushing on hills or in busy areas. We really like the buckle and the fact that they kind of spring away from the seat, which makes it easy to buckle in a wiggly toddler. I also like that each strap buckles on it's own. I thought I wouldn't like the lack of a true peekaboo window on the canopy, but I actually don't mind it at all. If I want to see my daughter, I just unzip the expander and look at her through the mesh panel. I like the reclining mechanism of the stroller seat, and my favorite thing about it is how tall the seat back is! Our toddler is tall for her age and so many other travel strollers have seat backs that looked uncomfortable for her. This one works really well for her! The footrest is also really nice to have so she can prop up her tired legs. I can't bring myself to pay $39 for a cupholder, but I do like the bumper bar accessory. It also comes with a rain cover, which is nice for those of us in the PNW. I would highly recommend this for those looking for a compact but high-end stroller. We're looking forward to using it for plane travel soon. ... show more

  • Tight Space Magic
Color: Stormy Blue
Best compact stroller ever! It fits in the floorboard space of the back (as well as in the trunk of a small car). Easy open and close! Light weight. The ride is smooth but doesn't handle uneven pavement well. No assembly required, came ready to go straight out of the box. Love, love, love that the straps naturally stick up. Makes putting him in so easy since in not fishing under him for straps. Basket isn't anything to get excited about, but definitely big enough for diaper bag. I often take this when my mom and I go shopping. He loves to run and this fits easily folded in the cart (leaving plenty of room for stuff) while I chase him but comes back out if he becomes a handful or gets tired. He prefers it to the cart. Son is 2 and about 36 in. Still plenty of room between canopy and his head! Cons: It is always in a reclined position, does not sit straight up which my son doesn't like. It does recline quite a bit if baby falls asleep (mine doesn't so not really a feature we use). Foot/leg rest is really adjustable but fabric is tight. I always feel like I'm going to bust it when folding in or out to fold stroller. Bottom line is it's a versatile, lightweight compact stroller that rides smooth yet can fit in tight spaces. Perfect if you have a small car or value trunk space like me. It's not good off-road but is a smooth push on even ground. ... show more

  • Almost perfect!
Color: Forest Green
The short take: backboard is 22 inches, good for taller kids. Easy to fold and is compact. Cushion is better than others in this class. The only negative is the calf support-which I find to be odd and lacking cushion. I bought an aftermarket cushion that attaches perfectly-I just searched butterfly leg cushion and it came up. With the cushion attached it’s pretty close to perfect. I purchased the Butterfly carrying case backpack to protect it when we gate check it-I would have liked a travel bag included at this price point but even without that bonus it’s worth it. Let me save you the time and hassle of ordering a ton of others to try like I did: Runner up cheaper option: mompush lithe V2. I liked it, the backboard was nice and tall, no real negatives but I just preferred the sleek look and size of the Bugaboo (bc of course I did, for 4x the price). If I didn’t like the Bugaboo I would have gone with this one. However the cushion wasn’t as thick or soft as the more expensive options. Others I did not like: uppababy minu, baby jogger eco 2 and ergobaby metro. All three of these did not have a tall enough back for my toddler. His head was dangling off the back or nearly was-which isn’t great bc he likes to relax in his stroller. They had decent cushions and everything else was ok-of these I liked the baby jogger best but a short back doesn’t work for us! Super glad I went with the Butterfly! ... show more

  • Best Travel Stroller!
Color: Stormy Blue
Traveling? Here’s the review you’re here for. We just took this stroller IN CABIN overhead internationally both on American twice and AER Lingus. No one blinked just asked if we wanted it checked or not. It crushed it on the roads in Paris, United Kingdom and plenty of cobblestone and old brick roads in Ireland. Is it a little bumpy? Of course but it handled like a champ. Sun shade is elite, has a great recline for nap time Quality is absolutely there. I bought the baby zen yo-yo, Nuna trvl, aer jul A+ & cybex libelle. Returned them all because the bugaboo is the best quality. Nuna trvl is definitely right there with it. It’s beautiful and I would have loved it as the wheels are definitely a little better than the bugaboo but size wise the butterfly wins. The Nuna would need to be gate checked which I was trying to avoid & did with the bugaboo Cons? No bag & very hard to find a compatible bag for it which is my preference to keep it clean. Bought stormy blue, definitely more of a gray blue then a blue. Carry strap is a little short IMO OTHERWISE, a total win. ... show more

  • Great stroller with a small inconvenience
Color: Dark Cherry
My baby seems comfortable in the stroller. The stroller is very convenient, easy to fold and carry. The only issue is that the strap gets lost in the folding process, which is an inconvenience to have to unfold the stroller to pull the carrying strap out.
