For reference...I used Benjamin Moore Advance White Dove Satin to refinish my kitchen. I brushed and foam rolled the cabinet boxes and back of doors. The boxes look very smooth, the back of doors show faint brush marks no matter what I tried, nevertheless I am not redoing them. The fronts looked horrible...no matter what technique I tried (various brushes &rollers, thinning the paint) nothing worked...there were constant evident marks worse then the back and I hated it. I finally broke down and bought this sprayer after reading multiple reviews. The 1st photo is showing the final product with 1 coat of spraying, the 2nd is showing the brush marks that I hated, The 3rd photo is is showing how I fixed it. I wet sanded with fine foam sanding sponge, which left it *feeling* very smooth, but you could see faint sanding marks when held at the right angle and the the satin finish was now dull. I was unsure whether spraying would "hide" the faint marks with 1 coat of spraying, but it did! I'll admit, I spent a lot of time practice spraying and was frustrated because it constantly produced an orange peel look immediately after spraying. I finally decided to spray 2 doors and see what developed. So glad I did, because as the hours went on the paint leveled out and the orange peel 100% vanished. I thinned the paint close to 50%! It is also winter and about 25-30% humidity, so very dry and likely why I had brush strokes initially. I hope someone finds this helpful, because I scoured the web to figure out all my issues and resolutions.

At first I thought "what the heck, for forty some dollars I'll give it a try". Never having used a spray gun, I went to this popular video platform on the internet, and watched lots and lots of HVLP spray gun videos. The main reason I decided over this sprayer was the replaceable nozzles with different sizes. This made painting with oil base paint a breeze. As I am remodeling a house, this became a primary tool. Painted windows, doors and everything looked fantastic. Of course that the logic of paint thinning has to be understood before painting, but afterwards is a walk in the park. But cleaning is another matter because I am painting with an oil based paint. Dismantling the nozzle is easy, but cleaning it through requires time. I had to prepare everything that was to be painted way before painting. This way I painted only one time and cleaned the sprayer once a day. And cleaning it takes easily 30-45 minutes (I make sure its really clean). But for the money, it is worth it!

I don't have experience with other paint sprayers. This one comes with more than enough tips and extras to get the job done and clean up. It's a bit heavy but that just means solidly built with a big motor. It's a bit loud, too. It worked great in the garden to apply coats of clear poly and stain to outdoor wooden furniture, without runs or a lot of overspray. I tried it with water based latex to spray louvered doors, while they laid flat. It was harder to get the viscosity right. It worked on a test piece but I over-thinned the paint and that caused drips and runs - not a fault of the sprayer. I need to practice to get the right viscosity. The 1L container is fine and the paint isn't sprayed out too fast (it's very adjustable), it lasts a while. If you have a large job like a long fence or garage room, this can handle it. While I think the machine is technically capable, I wouldn't plan to use it to get a nice lacquer sheen on kitchen cabinets - unless you already have a lot of practice. Cleaning it takes some time - to disassemble the parts, clean and reassemble. It's worth it, but keep your expectations in check.

I used to hate painting the ceiling. Then a friend recommended me a home paint sprayer. After looking and reading reviews here in Amazon, I decided to buy this one. Never had experience using one, and let me tell you, this was a game changer for me. All the mess and drops and doble coating with the roller is gone forever. It is a good, reliable and inexpensive tool to get the job done. I would have like a little bit bigger paint bucket, so you don't need to refill as much but other than that, great product. As other reviewers pointed out, read the instruction manual because you need a little bit of prep before starting your project, but once you get used to it, everything is so much easier. Me gustaría un cubo de pintura un poco más grande, para no tener necesitad de rellenar con tanta frecuencia, pero aparte de eso, es un gran producto. Como señalaron otros, lea el manual de instrucciones porque necesita un poco de preparación antes de comenzar su proyecto, pero una vez que se acostumbra, todo es mucho más fácil. UPDATE: seller reached out to me ASAP and offered a refund or replacement. Seller said they are updating the product to fix my issue and a new version is coming out soon. They were super attentive and quick with the refund so i appreciate that. Will buy again once the new model comes out because this a good sprayer for the price... i just had a bad unit that over heated...... Now back to origonal review....this is my 2nd "budget" sprayer. the one i had before was decent but a pain to clean... so I thought i would try this newer version with the brass tip. So it is better to clean... but that being said after the 3rd time using it (mind you i am just using it to paint trim and doors in my house so i dont have brush marks) it got so hot in my hand that i had to stop using it! one of the parts inside must have melted and warped because now i cant eject the canister (part of why its easer to clean)
