These milk crates exhibit a lot of creep upon exposure to a load which is indicative of residual plasticizer or low molecular weight polymers. If dimensional stability upon exposure to a moderate load (20lbs-89N) is important to you, then don't buy these.

    • Not your plastic flimsy style.
We live off-grid and I work in the city three days a week and tote goods back and forth frequently. I was using laundry baskets but you load em up too much and they get heavy. These don’t take up unnecessary room in the “grocery getter”, you can stack ‘em easily in a corner of the RV out of the way and the fragile items won’t get crushed. They have handles on all four sides so when you’re in a hurry you can just grab and go. Sturdy enough to hold propane bottles (which the boys are always stealing any available for). I love that they come in several colors so the boys always know which ones are mine. We’ll see how the plastic holds up in the desert over the years. Too soon to tell. ... show more

Color is not as pictured (burnt orange), but instead is safety orange like a traffic cone. Attached this to the back of a very colorful 10 speed bike and it works great for my purpose. The other is holding a load of tools in my garage. These crates are very sturdy and I fully expect them to outlive me. ... show more

I really only have one use for these. If you don't know, milk crates are the perfect size for holding a 20# (Standard grill size) propane tank. Allows easy transport of extra tanks, be it to refill or take camping. Gives them a sturdy base so they aren't rolling around or falling over. Damn these things are hard to find these days. Really handy little guys to have around too. I bought this pair for my propane jugs. I have five of them that I like to keep full at all times. Not just for the grill but I like to have some for my propane power heater for emergencies. Problem is that when I put a few in the back of my truck, they have a tendency to want to roll around back there. Milk crate =problem solved. Fits perfectly. Pro tip: best place to get your propane tanks filled is Tractor Supply. You only pay for the amount you use. You might be surprised by the savings! Anyway, these are great crates. Very sturdy. Color: Brown
These milk crates were a great purchase. They are made of a sturdy plastic material that feels very strong compared the the weights I've been carrying in them. I originally purchased these to carry large books when taking my PE test. They worked perfectly for that endeavor. I would put several puts in, then rotate them so that their bindings faced up, then tip them on the side and use as sort of a book shelf in front of me when taking the test. They held my books well and I could grip the handles easiely to carry them around. Now that the test is done and over with, I've found myself using them for various other things. I've carried a crock pot with several side items, and I've placed another in my garage with some tools. They are as versatile as you'd like them to be. The price was right on these, I didn't feel like I was wasting my money, and the fact that it came with two was a nice bonus. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. I put a can of soda in them in one image to help you gauge the size of these. I can't recall if there are more colors to choose from but it would be nice if there was. No frills brown did just fine for my purposes though. TL;DR Very versatile, sturdy 2-pack of milk crates. Buy and use them to help carry things. ... show more

Like Jerry Cans, Milk Crates are a utility item unto themselves. These are good examples, ready for your moving or impromptu furniture adventures. Just don't get limited by your imagination, these'll do the trick! For some reason, a rating for "Warmth" was requested. As these are as warm and welcoming as any other milk crate I've encountered. These are great for storing and carrying empty and full milk bottles to and from the garage. They are VERY sturdy not sure if those who said they were flimsy were filling these with or maybe they got a bad batch or knockoffs... I can carry 9 full pint heavy duty glass bottles in these without worrying about the carton holding them. I worry more about me tripping up the stairs as i carry them.... ... show more
