I know 200.00 plus dollars is a LOT of money for a dip net but the quality of this should be the last one I'll every buy. I've spent 30.00-50.00 over the last 3-4 years on inferior models and they'd break with 4-5 trips. But then again we fish offshore and run into big critters

Like anything this net has pros and cons. The pros include the carbon fiber handle, anodized aluminum yoke and the handle grip feels great in the hand. The big con is the actual net bag, it is rubber coated fabric mesh so while it is easier to get hooks out of it, it is not snag proof. I had three plugs stuck with bothe treble hooks buried in the wide fabric seam tape on the net and it was time consuming to get the hooks out. Also the net has tiny holes that are just big enough to snag anything that sticks out on the boat deck. My overall impression is this net will fish but be a little frustrating. I bought this to replace a KastKing Brutus net that broke at the yoke after a few months but has an amazing silicone net. I think I will replace the Bubba net with the KastKing bag and I will end up with a very good landing net! Anyway this is good but a little over priced given the less than great net. ... show more
