***UPDATE NOTE*** I'm on day 23 of my current set and they're still holding like it was day 1!!! To be clear, the pictures added are from two different applications. The clear short ones were one attempt, and the long red ones were another. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am using a cheap extension with them, so the longevity isn't due to that. Not one edge is pulling up like it has lost adhesion. I did pretty much everything mentioned in my original post, with one exception (filing the inside of the press-on). For reference, how I've gotten 23 days of PERFECT wear out of them is: There was a slight difference between my left and right-hand application. On my left, I used a dehydrator and primer before putting the nails on, but I did NOT do that on my right hand. At 23 days, I can tell you I can not tell the difference in how they are adhering. 1. Cleaned up my cuticles (used an orange stick to push them back, trimmed off the excess skin 2. Lightly buff my nails. I'm trying to grow them out to be healthy, so I took a lot of time with this to be sure I'm only taking off a TINY bit when buffing them. Basically, lightly passing my buffing block over the nails until the shine is gone 3. Using my power nail drill to file the INSIDE of the extension. I roughed that up pretty good. 4. Used an alcohol wipe on all my nails really well, paying attention to the sidewalls, to get ALL the dust off them 5. Used another alcohol wipe on the extensions, also to get dust off them 6. Left hand only (I forgot to do to the right hand). I used a Dehydrater, and once that dried, I put on a layer of Primer 7. Put a bead of the glue on the extension - I don't do this right at the bottom edge, I put it on about the bottom 1/4, and I put a bead on but also run the nozzle to the left and right of the nail a bit to make sure it easily gets to the sides in the next step 8. Put the nail on by lining up the bottom edge just a smidge above my cuticle at a 45 degree angle and SLOWLY angling it down until it is flat. I do move it a little bit side to side, careful not to lift it at all (to keep it air-bubble-free) IMPORTANT NOTE! DO NOT lift the nail at all after it's seated, or it will absolutely get air trapped. If you DO have to lift it for any reason, put a little bit more glue on the nail to get rid of bubbles. 9. Flash-cure the nail under a UV lamp (I do 10 to 15 seconds) 10. Put on the other 4 nails on that hand the same way, and then do a full 90-second cure of the whole hand. 11. Put on a thin layer of base coat and cure 12. Put on a thin layer of gel polish and cure 13. Put on a thin layer of top coat and cure ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I put on a little more glue than needed, and it did flood under my nail and the side walls. I cured it with that overlap on because I just can't hold the uncured nail in place while cleaning off the excess. I haven't figured out HOW to do that without the extension nail lifting up and getting air bubbles. I wait until after it's fully cured, and then I use nail nippers to cut the excess glue off. I do that at an angle so it matches the curvature of my nail. I then use a fine grit (180) thin file to lower that down even more until there is no overlapping glue on my sides/cuticle area. I use nail nippers to get some of the glue out from under my nail, though there is still a bit When they started to grow out (when they'd grab my hair, basically), I filed the extension until it wasn't shiny anymore and cleaned it off with an alcohol wipe. I then used a builder gel to fill in the grow-out area (I kinda pooled it in the grow-out area and then just did a light swipe up on my nail, so that was just a thin layer). I flash-cured each nail after doing the builder, so it wouldn't run or anything. When done, I cured the whole hand for 90 seconds. I then did base coat + gel polish + top coat on each of the nails. And here I am, at day 23, with absolutely ZERO lift on any side of any nail! I am SHOOKETH, y'all! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ***ORIGINAL REVIEW*** This is for the glue, only (I didn't get the nails with it). I have done my own nails at home for a year or two at this point, but I wore acrylics and extensions for more than 15 at this point. That is to say, I am a bit of a nail snob now. Usually, I use regular nail glue with half-tip extensions (the kind that you glue on in the middle or upper quarter of your nails). I had accidentally ordered full nail extensions a year ago and just never used them. I decided to try them with this glue. Oh my heckin gawd! First, let me say this was ridiculously easy to apply. I put a dot of the glue on the full extension, bottom center. When I put it on, I slid the nail up and down and side to side a bit, to get the glue all over my natural nail. It took about one single second to do. Once I had that and could see there were no bubbles, I flash-UV'd the nail to set it, cleaned off the excess glue around the edges, and then moved on to my other fingers, doing the same thing. Once I had my 4 main nails done, I cured for just over a minute. I then did my other hand, and then both thumbs. Let me just say, WOW. These suckers are ON there. They don't budge, and the excess glue that I failed to clean off was actually super easy to remove (nail nippers). My nails hurt the rest of the evening, but that was because of the shape of the nails I used. It didn't hurt bad, just that tenderness you get when you put on a new set of acrylics after not wearing them for a week or two. It wasn't the glue's fault, it was just the shaping of the nails. The glue didn't even feel warm under the lamp. I've had them on for a full 24 hours now, and they feel solid. Like, I feel my actual nail would come off before these things would. I have one area that looks like I didn't get glue on that edge (operator error), but other than that, they look remarkable. I will report back how long they lasted once they start to come off (or I decide to switch them out), but as for an initial reaction, I am floored. I've attached two pictures. One is just a view of a few nails. You can see how perfectly flat they lie on my nails. There is some bubbling you can see at the tops of my fingers, that's excess glue I haven't removed yet. The other picture is my thumbnail where I didn't get the glue all the way to the edge. As you can see, there is a visual difference. Knowing this now, I know what to look for when I use this next time.

I'm new to this hobby, I don't have perfect execution, and prep skills which is why I appreciate that these are pre-prepped. It seriously saves so much time and I don't trust myself to do it right and evenly on my own so I super appreciate this being an option. I will say I'm not soooo new that I don't understand that there are different types of press on nails. I think the reviews that are claiming these are falsely advertised because they are called press-ons without being pre-glued are funny to me. There are different types of press-ons. The term press-on doesn't exclusively refer to pre-glued nails and there's no info in the description that says that they're pre-glued. This is advertised as full "matte" which has to do with them being pre-prepped and etched on both sides meaning there's a little bit of "tooth" to the surface for better adherance to your nails and better adherance of polish. It also says they are "soft gel" nails which means they're made out of a material that is designed to be cured under a UV lamp with a particular gel adhesive. You CAN use glue with them, but they're specifically made for UV application. So they're actually correctly advertised. I didn't do the UV gel method. It's too much for me, I prefer lacquers and I actually get really long wear out of them so I haven't felt the need to switch. I used Fastbond glue recommended my Sally Beauty employees and these things are fantastic. Kudos to them for the rec. These nails feel so strong. I don't have any fear of them popping off. For example I would usually use a butter knife to pop the tab of a soda can instead of risking loosening my nails if I got them done at a salon but with these I just use the nails. I've also been making my own DIY fluid art decals with cheap dollar store nail polish but I use a good base and top coat they haven't been chipping at all. I like that they're thinner at the base of the nail close to the cuticle and get thicker at the tips. They have a more natural look than salon nails while still having a more professionally done look to them. The extra small were perfect for my fairly average length nail beds. I did need to file back my natural nails just a little at the outer corners on a couple. I might try the short almond and coffin ones at some point when I'm feeling fancy but the extra short are perfect for daily wear.

I’ve been using these clear nail tips for my at-home sets for the past 3 month’s and they are honestly amazing! I do my own nails so I need something that’s durable but still looks natural and BTArtbox always deliverers. This brand is actually one I consistently go back to. I use their nails all the time because they hold up just like salon sets! They are strong, reliable and long-lasting without feeling bulky. I always pair them with a builder gel overlay to add extra strength and durability and that combination has been perfect! It gives me that solid salon-quality structure while still keeping the nails lightweight and natural-looking. I first used these clear nails for a bold jelly red set and the application was super smooth. The nails are sturdy but still lightweight, and they shape really nicely! especially for almond/stiletto looks. What I love most is how clear they are!! they’re PERFECT if you like using sheer or jelly polishes because the color shows true without looking cloudy. After about three weeks, I did a refill instead of starting from scratch, I removed the red polish and switched to a soft sheer pink design and the nails still held up beautifully! No cracking, no breaking, no lifting. they stayed strong the entire time. That’s what really sold me. Being able to reuse the same set for a completely different look without compromising durability is a huge plus, especially when you’re doing your nails at home. Overall, these are super reliable, beginner-friendly, and versatile plus this kit comes with a great quantity of nails! If you love switching between bold colors and soft sheer looks like I do and want something that performs like a salon set, all the nails by this brand are definitely worth trying!

I am a licensed nail tech, and I have TINY FLAT nail plates, so finding tips that fit well and are durable can be a struggle. I’m pretty happy with these. I wouldn’t really call these extra short (see provided photo) but they are pretty and they have been durable during the 10 days I’ve had them on, save for my index finger on my dominant hand. I do nails for a living & constantly have my hands in acetone so I’m not docking points for that! The only complaint I have is that they are not short enough for my baby fingers. I know, I can file them down, but the point of getting XS was so that I didn’t have to. Other than that, I like these tips! They come pre-etched so you don’t need to fiddle with that, they are very easy to size to the nail plate, and I did not use the smallest nail provided which is new for me. Love the different sizes (0-15)! I’ve had no issues with polish chipping off of the top although I DID use a buffing block to etch the surface like I do with any gel-x set. I wish they were shorter because I would buy them again!! I haven’t removed them yet but, to be fair, I don’t use e-files on myself or my clients and I always struggle to hand file gel-x down. I love these nail tips. I use them with gel polishes to make my own nail sets for myself and my friends. They’re durable, I haven’t had any break on me at any point and they survive being cut and filed if you want them even shorter. They’re also pretty perfectly sized for me, as I have smaller nail beds and not all brands have small enough nails that fit me; and these are just long enough for me to feel fancy but not so long that I can’t function, and I can also trim them down if I need more utility. I’ll continue to use this brand and I look forward to trying other shapes they offer!

I use this glue to prime a nail before I added a builder glue and so far my nails are staying strong for two weeks. The application goes easy. It’s not too liquidy will definitely buy again. I really like this product six stars.

So I’ve heard so many good things about this brand and thought to give a try. I am a DIY girlie and I thought I would use these as a base then poly gel. The sizing of the nails were a bit wide. They were easy to use. Shape was on point but I ordered short and they were mixed some were short and others were long. I guess they were durable for the type of nail.

These are great. As someone who’s been doing gel x for a while, when I ran out of my original hard tips I’d been struggling to find something the same. With the newer “soft tips” and “pre etched”, even with using the same brand nail and gel glue (beetles) I wasn’t getting the lasting effect I would with the hard tips that I etch myself. After I’ve found these I can finally keep the same tips on for 2-3 months with fills in between. The shape of these are nice and round, not too curved at the tip. Very strong and durable compared to soft tips. And with beetles uv nail glue they stick up to 3 months.
