Nicely made product, coloring is even, no specks or scratches. Though the product is not ‘golden’ as many assume yellow gold. It is stainless silver and kc/rose gold. They are well made and functional but they do not really look silver and gold in person. They look more like polished stainless steel (darker and grayer than a silvertone like polished sterling, but luckily not as obnoxiously shiny as chrome) and a coppery gold (more orangey yellow than pure yellow gold - there's no way someone would mistake a product like this for being solid 24k gold, ie orangey, if only due to the hardness required for a utile hair clip - so the extreme coppery yellowness looks less real than if they had made it a more subtle and softer yellow gold tone). Overall I like them after using them for a couple weeks now. But the colors surprised me when I first opened them. ... show more
