If you're thinking about buying these brushes.... DO IT!!! I pondered over these brushes for years because I was afraid quality for the cost would be bad. Boy was I wrong!! I wish I'd purchased them sooner. Even as I washed them I was skeptical because they were so soft, I thought they would be too flimsy for precise makeup application. The tapered face brush is a workhorse. I have used it for concealing under my eyes, contouring my cheeks, and highlighting all in the same application, despite having so many other brushes in the set to choose from. The angled face brush picked up cream and powder blush and blended it perfectly. It works wonderfully on the apples of the cheeks. These brushes are soft yet densely packed for firmness. They are so versatile that you can use any of them for many purposes. I used one of the angled eye brushes to contour around my nose and to blend out a crease color. I can't boast enough about how wonderful these brushes are. It should be a sin for a set of makeup brushes to cost so little and work so great. ... show more

This makeup brush set is amazing for the price! The brushes are super soft, dense, and blend makeup beautifully without shedding. It comes with a great variety of brushes for face and eye makeup, making it perfect for both beginners and everyday use. The handles feel sturdy and the quality honestly compares to more expensive brands. After washing them, they still kept their shape and softness. Overall, I do like these. I don't like the large brushes for face/foundation...anything wet is not good. But for powder/blush/eye shadow/ eye brows...pretty good. I would buy these again given the good price for the amount you get and it having the container to keep them in. Unable to comment on durability just yet, but they do feel cheap. They are cheap though, so I knew what I paid for. The size is awesome. Perfect size between hand/face holding. Definitely not all brushes are like that. So this was great. The brushes are nice and seem to be of very good quality but upon opening them there was a terrible toxic chemical smell. The smell seems to have come from the container. I removed the brushes from the container, aired them for a few days and the toxic smell has reduced. I love the brushes and but they will certainly require a few washes before use. ... show more

The brushes are unbelievably soft and dense without feeling scratchy, and the variety in the set covers everything I need — angled face brushes, fluffy powders, small shader brushes, and precise liners. The “face flat angled” brush is perfect for cream and powder foundation application and leaves a smooth, airbrushed finish. What I love: • Extremely soft, synthetic bristles that pick up and deposit product evenly. • Great selection of brush shapes — you can do full-face makeup with just this set. • Comfortable, lightweight handles and sturdy ferrules. • Cleans easily and dries looking brand-new. • Excellent value for the quality. Minor note: • If you prefer very heavy hand-pressed application, you may need to experiment a bit — these are designed to blend and buff for a natural finish.
