Ease of use. Battery & charger came at same time

    • Good drilll with some important issues
This drill is pretty good since I am only using it for household jobs. However, there are some issues that prevent this from being a durable tool. The major one is that the keyless chcuck does not hold the drill bit tight. The bit is constantly coming loose mid-job, both large 1/2" bits and small ones. A real problem. I can get through jobs, but with trouble. The next issue is that there is some sort of clutch mechanism that slips when there is too much torque in drilling — good idea but the trouble is that it is too sensistive and the drill never achieves optimum torque drilling but slips on tough jobs, like metal. This makes it very touchy and hard to drill through something like 1/8" steel. You can do it, but with a lot of starts and stops. Both these issues shoiuld have been addressed in the engineering of the tool to make it a real working drill. ... show more

    • Battery doesn't charge
I bought this drill a few months back to hang up some small shelves around the house. Afterward, I put it away and haven't used it since. I need to hang-up some more shelves today and noticed the battery isn't charging what so ever and the charger is blinking green and red. I don't know if the battery was defective or what not but I literally used this thing once and now its too late to return. will be contacting DCK to see if I can get assistance with this issue... not to confident about that since it looks like the company might be based out in Asia and I wont pay for a dud again. ... show more
