I was looking for a towel to wipe my bowling balls down with after practice sessions/leagues and this fit perfectly. Pros - Fits in your hand, not too big. Microfiber use side is extremely good at grabbing the oil out of the ball, especially if you use the proper cleaner. Simply put, does it's job! Can be washed easily in any washer without damage. Cons - Grip side where you put your hand wears out over time, still completely usable I also want to add that this towel is NOT made for wiping down during your game, this is to be used specifically as a cleaning towel after you are done to get the oil out of the ball. Only received 4 stars because in my opinion I wish it was a tad bit larger (I have bigger hands) ... show more

Works exactly the way it should. Just getting into bowling again and I could instantly see a difference after using this to wipe my ball down after each throw. Doesn’t break the bank in cost either so I plan on buying a few more as backups.

Last year I returned to bowling after a 40 year absence. It is a different game with amazing equipment. The ball has more power even though it is 2 lbs lighter. Lately it wasn’t getting the same action. The pro at the alley asked if I had the ball deoiled. I thought he was joking. It turns out the new ball retains oil. After he worked on the ball it was as good as new. I happened to see the easy grip towel. I bought it and it works as advertised. After each throw I wipe the ball which removes the oil. Now I understand why the pros do this. The towel has one side that is designed to make it easy to hold. For the bowler that looks for every advantage this towel is a must. These microfiber grip towel is very easy to use and does a great job of wiping the oil off of bowling balls. It also means I can use my hand towel for drying off my hand. I was hesitant to get oil on my hands when using my hand towel for removing oil from the bowling ball. Highly recommend it!
