I couldn't find my last good pair of dress shoes this week, so I had to order some good dressy but casual boots for an event, and these popped up on here at $43 which seemed like an unheard of deal, and they were. The boots shipped in two days, pristine, they fit like a glove even with double socks, are padded with plush sherpa type material inside, tongue is padded, and they zip up and it's easy to put them on and no sweat on that. They look bloody brilliant with the buckles on left and right outside ankle, and definitely seem well made and durable. Someone said on here that they didn't last more than a year or two, but at $43 that's not too bad. I got these in size 8 black. US sizing. I went right from box to the event, and they couldn't have been any more comfortable! That's rare there was no break-in time required! What a bargain. These can also pass for dress at at event, or just day to day wear, or whatever. Padding is a real plus. The laces are there but mainly for effect, they just tied off at the top but could use some more length, really.

My son LOVES these boots! So nice, we have bought them twice! He's 22 and in college and walks all over campus with them. Says they are comfy and fits true to size. They go with everything. And are just a great look. And best of all, they zip up! Game changer lol. He's never been one to spend time tying laces. However, the zipper has broke both times. But in all fairness, these are the only shoes he wears daily. And often in the snow. So they have endured A LOT. The price is great, so it's not a deal breaker and will probably buy it a third time.

I purchased these shoes about a week ago, walk about 8 miles-per-day on average, and use these as work boots in a maintenance setting, dealing with snow, water, and chemicals. They're pretty good, especially for the price. It's only been a week, but I'm satisfied with these as an intermediate to a pair of quality work boots. They are not waterproof, nor are they comfortable, but they have held up better than my previous pair of cheap footwear. The sole has not separated, nor has the "leather" cracked, and I walk about 8 miles a day dealing with water, snow and pool chemicals. They're not comfortable, but they're not unbearable. They're either too tight, causing pain on the top of my foot/front of my ankle, or too loose, causing chafing on the back of my foot, requiring two pairs of socks. Water does soak into them, and I can hear it "squish" out from between layers of the sole (which worries me), but they're also somewhat warm and soft when dry. In snow/ice, these are better than most shoes, but many dedicated boots beat them here. They're pretty decent when it comes to traction, looks, and durability (or so it seems), but come up short in almost every category, however, I'd buy them again at this price in a similar situation. I LOVE the zipper on the side. It makes them easier and quicker to put on, and it allows me to unzip and relieve some built up tension on my break at work. Admittedly, I did look at them and think that they appeared a bit "feminine", but the pros outweigh the cons. Zippered boots have utility. Basically, it's my "Friday", my feet hurt a bit, the back of my ankles are chafed, and my shoes sit in my closet, still damp from hours before, but my wallet is happy and both I, and my shoes, made it through 40 miles of walking in a workweek. I'll spend more next time, but I don't regret this purchase.

Although they aren't as comfortable as the work boots (which I have in 2 different colors) I put in a memory foam insert and it feels better, plus I feel these need to be broken in a bit. Otherwise quality is good and for the price and look these are awesome. Good grip! Easy to put on! The interior fabric is a nice touch 👌. Im very happy

Less of a review, more of an obituary. Sad to say, this boot lasted less than a year. I'll be generous and say 10 months. The sole began to come away from the toe a couple weeks ago and my I found my toes getting damp a month before that. (In puddles shallower than the tread of the boot. For the life of me, I don't think I'll ever figure that one out.) But good lord, they fit my tastes. Hugs your ankle like a boot, but throw your pantleg over it, and the whole world thinks you're wearing oxford shoes. Impeccable. Zips up comfortably, and the fur lining is *luxurious* when it's fresh. By now, it's settled down into a less cozy felt, but that suited me just fine in the summer. And that's the rub of it. It's a boot that lasts exactly 4 seasons. Looks sharp, then fades. But here I am, buying a second pair. I'm vain enough to drop forty bucks a year on a specific look. Far as vanity goes, that's about as cheap as they come. Until I find a more durable alternative that matches my specific, unreasonable aesthetic requirements, this boot is where it's at. My boots are dead. Long live my new boots.

Bought these boots and immediately loved the style, fit, and comfort of them. Next day wore them as I rode my motorcycle into work. Ended up getting into a nasty accident and scooped up by ambulance to spend the day in the hospital. A few broken bones, bruises, sprains, the works. However! My feet and ankles were unscathed, and the boots only had a few minor scuff marks and one puncture near the ball of my foot on the instep but the boot prevented anything from harming my actual feet. Won't be riding anytime soon, but definitely will buy another pair simply on principle cause these are great!

I bought these to replace some worn out gray leather shoes, and thought I'd try a inexpensive pair. I was pleasantly surprised how nice these fit. The gray is a bit darker than I expected, and will probably look like faded black leather for a bit. I also oiled mine with Pecards oil, so they'll stay a bit darker than a non-oiled finish. The side zipper is extremely convenient for getting them on and off. The have a thin plaid liner, which makes them more comfortable in the colder months. I don't know that these will replace my dedicated motorcycle boots, but they're a nice option with jeans for the colder months. For the money, they're a great pair of boots. I'll update my review if they wear prematurely, but after a month of wear they're holding up well.
