  • Wonderful boots and well made
Very nice pair of boots. Comfortable and stylish while also being affordable. Fit to size perfectly and the zipper makes for easy removal.

  • Great boot
Ok, I like the fit, and the zipper which can tighten the laces and makes on/off a breeze. They're also fashionable, without too much of an army boot tread. But not flat, which would make them slippery. The 1st pair I bought was fit larger than the advertised size, but I got a 1/2 size smaller and it's perfect. Hopefully the man made materials will hold up. ... show more

  • First impressions - will UPDATE this review in a month
I like the look of the boots for sure, however, they feel cheap, and are extremely lite, which in and of itself is not necessarily a bad thing but with cheapish footwear that could mean a VERY short lifespan. Note, I am a SHOE guy, oh boy do I love my shoes so I'll try and keep this as real as I can. The arch support is moderate, and you can "feel" the heel, so having your own insert would be recommended if that kind of thing bugs you. It is wider than a normal size 12 which is GOOD (for me) I love the room. Getting the boots on and off is very easy, and the zipper is GREAT - only tie those boots once and you are good. Ya, its a bit SHINY which screams cheap, but it's not too - TOO shiny, so I can liev with that. OK, now for the real part, it feels CHEAP, and again it is very lite. so from my experience, this will translate into a fairly SHORT life (depending) if these will be your everyday drivers. I wear MANY different shoes so I will get a bit more out of these. For full-time wear (aka: your daily driver) Scratching of this level boot is fairly easy, so expect it. The buckle on this type boot is for SHOW and it will tend to pop off, misalign, or completely break as well. FACTS of life for low end foot wear. Lifespan; 1) I'd easily expect a 90+ day working life for people that are on the lightweight side, IF you take care of the uppers and soles. These folks, if they are not delivery people can expect the MOST from this level footwear. 2) I'd expect a 90ish day health looking good working life span for the average weight folks. Sadly, the soles tend to separate from the upper at the toe or/or heel, and they get scratched to shit. ( the good news they can be repaired EASILY based on the over all condition of the boot). 2) I'd expect an UNDER - 90 day life span for the heavy weight folks out there. With the above outlined issues PLUS , heels tend to crack in this weight range fairly fast. Honestly, if were me I'd go for a higher end boot then rather buy these. Three months seems to be the average life span for "cheapish" foot wear depending on the company, and lifestyle of the owner. Bruno as a company is no different, they are middle of the road and squarely in the center of the cheap zone, so we will seeeeee.... More to follow! ... show more

  • Looks great…but
The media could not be loaded. These look great and if they were real leather they’d be killer! But of course pricier too. They “feel” on the cheap side. Very light, no heft to them. That means not much quality on the souls also which could make a problem for wear and tear. They feel pretty comfortable for the few minutes of trying them on in the house. On the fence about keeping them. I may just to see how they wear & that will educate me on any further shoe purchases with this material. I don’t go out tons so maybe 12 or so wears a year along with wearing other shoes maybe they’ll last a while (?) Funny I’ve bought real leather shoes at this price point 10-15 yrs ago & still have them but of course there is nothing about this earth that is the same as 15 years ago. Siiigh!! ... show more

  • Fell apart in under 4 wks
Size: 12 Color: Black-3
These boots were for my husband, he is a mechanic & works both in a garage & outside. These boots looked great & fit good & he loved the convenience of the zipper on side with the look of laces. He was very unhappy to have the bottom come unattached at the heel after wearing for a little over 3 wks daily. When boots are just glued together rather than sewn this is a big issue. This is the second pair of boots we have tried from Amazon & the other was a different brand but less money ($20 cheaper) & those also came apart but it took 3 months rather than under 1. So lesson learned getting cheaper boots for him. Unfortunately we don't have extra money laying around to invest in more pricy boots but we are going to start saving for some. The rate we are going through these less expensive boots ($40 is still a lot for shoes IMO) they should get him at least 6 months of use & if not it's just throwing money away. I did contact Amazon & of course it was few days past the 30 day return window, but Amazon was kind enough to give me a partial refund & I sent the old ones back to then. Word to the wise: only get these if u only want them for occasional wear & not for working or going outside in bad weather. They are like dress shoes &will not hold up to someone who actually works or is harder on shoes. In their defense, they are not advertised as "work" boots, but regardless, no boot should completely fall apart that fast in any circumstances unless u maybe went swimming in them & they were submerged under water for some time. ... show more
