... there are some issues. The shoes are a bit stiff, probably due to the synesthetic leather, but I expect they will break in after being worn a couple of times. The sole & heal are a bit thin, stitching is not what it is on a higher end or mid- level shoe, but that's to be expected at this price point. Look, at the end of the day, these shoes look good, and are a very good value, as long as you don't plan to wear them that often. Years ago, I used to spend a lot of money on shoes like Bally, Florsheim, Ferragamo, etc., because it was necessary for me to keep up a first class wardrobe due to my business. Now that I no longer need to spend that kind of money anymore, because I'm almost always in jeans, shorts and sweats, there's no need to spend $200 plus on a pair of shoes I might only wear 3-4 times year. Bottom line? If you plan to wear these shoes, even once a week, I would consider upgrading to a better quality brand. If not, and you're just looking for a nice looking shoe to wear once in a while, when you dress up, these are a really good deal.

I will never understand why reputable shoe companies (including this one) on Amazon always call these Oxfords or Derby Oxfords. Oxford and Derby are two DIFFERENT style of shoe. These are NOT Wingtip Oxfords, but are Wingtip Derby. Oxfords have a single piece upper with the lace eyelets, while a Derby has the attached "flaps" with the eyelets. That is what these shoes are. Derby Brogue This is my 5th pair of these shoes. I've owned multiple colors. The fit is a bit tight when you first get them, but quickly loosen up to match your foot shape for a perfect fit. For the price, they are a great option for an every day dress shoe. I wear these around the house and out and about. I have more expensive wingtips that I wear for dinners and social occasions.

For 40$ I got what I expected. Ordered half size down then what I normally wear for tennis shoe and it fits well. Stiff lower quality leather that has been shined and treated. Soles mark floors pretty easily and offer little traction at toes at first, needed to scuff up which is normal with dress shoes before getting traction. They look fine for work and I am not worried about them breaking or falling apart.

If you need these for the occasional dress up moment, they will work fine. They fit great, look great and do the job. If you do a lot of walking, you need to spend the extra money for a leather upper. These look good, but are still stiff after a few weeks use. The finish has stood up to use, and the feel good, but I wouldn't want to walk a trade show or sales floor in them.

Look great and are comfortable. I normally wear a 12W and i seen another review who stated they did as well but it was tight and had to get a 13W. So i ordered a 13W but it was loose on me. So i sent back and ordered the 12W and they fit as they should. Cant beat the price!
