The media could not be loaded. First of all I’m 5’9 and 140lbs and I wear a size 8 in men’s shoes. Pretty average guy haha I ordered and 8 and it was too big, I ordered a 7 and it was too small so I split the difference and got a 7 1/2 and it was perfect. Maybe order a half size smaller then you normally would with shoes. The only reason I’m giving these shoes a 4 and not a 5 is because There were a few threads that were hanging and I had to cut and burn them clean but nothing I couldn’t handle. I'm a 59yr old man with size 9.5 flat feet. I purchased these for my an up coming wedding. The shoes that came with the tux with an additional rental fee of $30 were too narrow even though they were a wide. I found these and they appeared to have a wider toe box and they didn't come to a point. The shoes arrived on time and were packaged very nicely. They don't have a chemical smell that was reported on other reviews. They run true to size both in length and width. I wear a 9.5 and I purchased a 9.5. Their isn't a high arch but since I have flat feet, no arch or low arch is more comfortable for me. They are $2 less than the rental. They are new and have not been worn by strangers and I get to keep them for a future occasion for only $28 ... show more

I desperately needed to find white dress shoes for my husband for our wedding. Yet again Amazon saves the day. I hate buying shoes and clothing online because you never know if it’s going to fit. So I selected my husband’s size, pushed buy now and held my breath until they came and oh boy let me tell you! Those are some of the sexist shoes I’ve ever seen him wear. They are stunningly white and beautifully shiny. They fit Him perfectly and he said they were the most comfortable shoes he has ever put on his feet. The width was perfect foe his feet, he wasn’t sliding around at all nor were his feet feeling squeezed. The toe box left enough room for his toes to move freely without rubbing uncomfortably on the top. They were the perfect last touch to his outfit for our wedding. There were some small, faint smudge marks on the heel of on of the shoes and about a 1/4 of an inch of the seam where the inside shoe fabric meets the outside is frayed a little. ... show more

Inside of the shoe is dyed red, and it bleeds through your socks (ruining them if any color but black or red) and into your skin. The dye caused a rash to break out on my feet, itching and swelling for several hours now. Learn from my mistake; buy a better shoe

I needed some “shiny” shoes for a black tie wedding. I took a chance on these shoes and they are great. My Nike shoes are size 9.5, Johnston and Murphy are size 10. So I ordered 9.5 in these shoes and they feel fine. The toe is a little wide compared to my size 10 so the 9.5 fit fine. As others have stated the smell is revolting. I put some Febreze and baby powder inside and let them air out outside and they are okay after about a week. I’m looking forward to wearing them. ... show more

Worked for my Elton John costume. I wear a 8.5 wide, however these were not wide. My feet were killing me after awhile and gave me some blisters too. Also had a horrible smell. Ended up donating them. I reccomend something else.

Pro’s: fit, comfort, and appearance- especially for the price- awesome 5/5. Con’s: as soon as I opened the package I could smell a petroleum smell. When I opened the box, it me like a freight train. These shoes smell like burning oil... I ordered last minute so only had about 30 hours to “air out”. I sprayed with cologne and couldn’t even tell. After I wore them, I’ve left in my garage for 4 days now, and you can still smell them from inside my house. Honestly, aside from that smell, they are great value. Luckily I wore to a black tie cigar smoker event... so couldn’t notice over the smoke anyway! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I like the shoe very much. I like it that it’s glossy. The only thing that I don’t like are the laces. I would have bought ones that don’t have laces but they don’t have any. Overall I like them. I get a lot of compliments.
