Bruno Marc makes up the most comfortable, stylish, affordable footwear I own. As a musician I have worn dress shoes all my life, but these dress boots are something else. I like how they come up a little higher on my ankles, and they don't dig into your heels like dress shoes sometimes do. In my line of work I don't usually have to walk very far to get wherever I'm going but the boots are consistently comfortable the whole time I'm wearing them. If you're an insoles guy you'll probably add them anyway, but these are very easy on the feet. You'd think the extra material would make you really hot, but as long as I'm not running anywhere I can usually spend the whole day without my feet getting super sweaty or hot in most seasons, although I also never get cold wearing these. And it has to be said: the zippers are a game-changer. I have a pair of chukkas that don't have zippers and I basically never wear them. These are so easy to get in and out of, and most times I don't have to touch the laces at all, which I guess technically helps them to last longer. I prefer these to dress shoes, and every opportunity I have to wear them they are my first choice. ... show more
