I’ve worn them about 10 times now, and here is my experience so far: Style & Versatility: These are the perfect "middle ground" shoe. They go great with both jeans and chinos for those nights when you want to look a bit more put-together than a standard pair of regular sneakers. The "Wife Test": My wife immediately noticed the difference; she mentioned that these give off a much more "preppy" and dressed-up vibe compared to my usual Nike sneakers. I bought these for my son to wear to a quinceañera since he needed plain white shoes and I didn’t want to spend much for a one-time event. They ended up being his favorite pair. He’s worn them to school several times a week for the past 7 months, and they’ve held up really well. There’s some normal wear, but they still look good and he says they’re comfortable. Comfortable, clean, and make me look cooler than I actually am These Bruno Marc white sneakers are my attempt at staying “casually stylish” at 50 without embarrassing my kids or trying too hard. Good news: they’re insanely comfortable right out of the box, fit true to size (13 for the win), and somehow stay bright white no matter what I do. Bad news: they might actually be too white. I keep waiting for them to age a little so I look like a laid-back dad, not a dad who just walked off a mall mannequin stand. They’re lightweight, cushioned enough for all-day wear, and pair with everything—from jeans to the “I give up” shorts I wear on weekends. Still not sure if I’m cool enough to pull them off, but they make me feel like I might be… which is basically the whole point, right? ... show more

I was looking for a white sneaker to replace my Adidas Stan Smith, and this time, I wanted wide shoes (Stan Smith line does not come in wide). Looking at the photos, this Bruno Marc all-white shoes looked good. It’s free of branding and rather plain looking. In other words, it’s not going to call attention to itself which is a good thing, I think. My biggest questions were comfort and durability, and those couldn’t be answered without buying them. Given the cheap price, I thought it was worth taking a chance. So far, so good — I broke them out of the top to wear them on my business trip. The 11 Wide fit very well just like my 11 Wide New Balance shoes. I’ve walked many miles (airport, flight, city sidewalks, office) in them, and the comfort has been excellent. The material is not leather, so time will tell on the durability, but given the price, if they manage to hold up for a couple of months, then I’ll be satisfied. For me, the outer rear corner of the outsole is what wears out before anything else does. So even with the shoes being made of synthetic material, I am sure it will hold up longer than the outsole for me. ... show more
