Weren't labeled as such, but these are a dress-sneaker, (dress down formal dress pants, dress up khaki-type a little....) Very nice shoe....ordered in 6-boys for my adult son for B-Day, as very small feet & 6-adult size so hard to find. (He was receiving award at a dress-casual dinner & I knew he only owned a very formal shoe & Athletic sneakers etc) I ordered a 2nd dress-sneaker, & he chose those, but only because they fit better. This B-Marco shoe was just slightly big, regular width in foot part, then narrowed in the toe. But it's a great shoe! I was disappointed, tho that it was not an Amazon item returnable @ a Kohls store...they told me I will need to visit a UPS drop-off location..

These ended up being too large for my son, so we went with another pair due to time constraints, but otherwise he really liked the flexibility of these. He doesn't like the stiff leather that most dress shoes have, so these are a nice alternative if you're looking for something a little dressier, but still comfy enough to run around in!

Updating my review due to the stellar customer service. I originally gave 2 stars because the shoes scuffed very easily as you can see. The seller responded to my review and offered to make it right. Even though I didn’t see the message right away, they stood by their product and worked with me months after the fact. Maybe my experience with the scuffs was a one off? They were really easy to work with. Original review: we got these a month ago to be worn once a week on dress day at school. By the second time wearing them, they were quite scuffed and now they are approaching needing to be replaced. We have tried polish with no luck. They are cute shoes but if you expect a young kid to wear them more than once or twice, I’d recommend something with higher quality.

On the outside, this shoe looks fit for occasions that require nicer looking shoes, not sneakers. Internally, these shoes feel almost like a sneaker with some cushioned soles that can add a little bounce to your step. So it’s perfect for kids because they look nice and feel comfortable. That’s a good combination at a pretty decent price.
